Dominic Cruz is a pro fighter, Bruce Lee is an actor who's never had a fight.
He had something like 16 amateur boxing matches when he was still in Hong Kong. It is possible to find it out there, but not easy.

Bruce Lee trained harder and was a much superior athlete. His feats of strength physical and cardio are well documented. MMA did not exist but if it had, the father of A Silva's style of striking would have been more dominant than A Silva. Bruce was Martial Artist of the highest calibre and would make the UFC roster look like CM Punk amateurs.

Chuck Norris doesn't agree.

Lee never competed in any martial art. He appeared in movies from childhood. I'm still not sold on him as a real fighter, though I admit I'm ignorant on the topic. I just cringe at fantasy shit. But he had the respect of some real fighters I guess, so maybe he was good.

Maybe he would do well against the bottom feeders, but I think he would get starched against any top 145 lb. The silly Wing Chun stuff just doesn't work.
Which is why he actively switched to training in all styles and admitting something few specialist martial artists of that day did, which was admit their style was limited and seek to learn more.

Yeah he was a good mixed martial artist, I actually own the Tao of Jeet Kune Do. I'm just not sure how he would do against a dedicated wrestle boxer or JJ player.

For some reason, I fail to understand about the message TS is trying to deliver to us.....

lol.

Glorified bodybuilder?? Are you insane? Seriously. You think a guy that never broke 145lbs in his life, is some sort of bodybuilder? He was lean as hell...Probably more lean than any fighter fighting today...and he maintained it year round...I love the people that say "oh, he was just an actor" These same people don't realize that bruce never even wanted to be an actor..it was by chance and luck...He was a martial artist is entire life..he was a revolutionary...

.. he's a martial art theorist. Who brought already established ideas about cross training martial arts to the west.

Bruce had no competitive fights against pro fighters.

He had no recorded fights. (Apart from a high school boxing tournament)

A lot if his impressive stories are known through word of mouth from, friends, family and students

Great physical specimen but that doesn't mean he'd be great in a ring/cage.

There are people who look great on the bags and pads but are poor in sparring.

There are people who look great gym sparring, but are poor in actual competition.

We never saw if Bruce could:

Take a punch
Put combinations together in a fight
Overcome adversity
Or if he good fight IQ.

These are questions other fighters get asked, but people conveniently overlook this for Bruce. I'm a big fan of his books and movies, but it's nuts to talk as if he was a accomplished fighter.

Your name is WrestleMania but you think you are smarter than real fighters like Bas Rutten, A Silva, Chuck Norris, Conor, on the subject of Bruce Lee. The Lols are on you chucklehead.

lol.

He's the most recognizable name in martial arts movies.

Here's a video of Chuck Norris in a real fight:

Here's another one. These are incredibly easy to find on youtube and Chuck Norris was a B-level martial arts actor. Yet, I can't find even one of the supposed best martial artist in history also from the same era.

Give me one of Bruce. Just one. You can't because he's just an actor that's been artificially given the status of martial arts hero because Asian men are emasculated and need a tough-guy role model to aspire to. If Bruce Lee were white and people said all this crazy shit about him being a world-class martial artist, he'd be a laughingstock.

Chuck was a karate guy. There are tons of karate videos from those times and before. Tons. Tournaments all over. Probably only boxing and muay thai have more. How many kung fu fights/bouts can you find videos of?

Your view and analysis of history is comical at best.

Honestly, I don't think so. Not sure actually.

After reading these idiotic comments I just came across it and it perfectly encapsulates the aura behind the man, the myth, the legend... Bruce Lee
