Conor Mcgregor exposed boxing

It is crazy how Floyd Mayweather has become the biggest name in MMA. He really did a number on the UFC, trolled Ronda, Dana and then ultimately KOd Conor who is sold as a #1 p4p great, lol.

After far exceeding what anyone expected Conor Mcgregor has exposed boxing as the "C" class sport it is.

He literally landed over 20% more significant shots than the then no.2 pound for pound Manny Pacquiao, in less time.

Max Kellerman HBO's boxing expert said he wouldn't land 1 shot and Jim Lampley (who swears by compbox) said it was a joke of a fight. If it was a joke how did he land so many more shots than 9 previous Mayweather opponents who went the distance with him.

Considering this was Mcgregors first ever fight in boxing against the greatest in the sport then we can only conclude that boxing is a weak sport with C class athletes. Its not even an NCAA sport!
Why didnt he win though?

McGregor didn't even get hit until what, the 4th round? Mayweather was getting out boxed until McGregor's endurance went. McGregor's did in fact make boxing lose a lot of credit. Mayweather could missed numerous times with strike in the first few rounds at least. Had McGregor had the endurance to go a few more round, Mayweather would have lost. Mayweather has got to be happy McGregor gassed.

Side note: I find it odd that McGregor never threw any power shots. That doesn't make any sense at all, to throw zero power shots. Also, McGregor has no doubt trained and completed 12 rounds in sparring. It does not make sense at all that McGregor gassed like he did. McGregor did not receive any hard shots at all until he gassed to begin with. I believe boxing simply used MMA's most popular fighter vs their most popular fighter in an attempt to make boxing more relevant. I saw many empty seats throughout the night. McGregor filled the seats. I simply believe they told McGregor going into this deal he's not to throw power shots, and other than that box as you would. Then Mayweather came back at the end once McGregor's cardio was gone, or at least McGregor made it so appear.

It's simple, McGregor trained many 12 rounds sparring matches, basically fights with headgear and body protection. Yet, he gassed not even 3/4 the way through the whole fight? Not to mention gassed before he took in real punishment or shots. Sorry, you all can say what you want but I'm not buying it.

Nonetheless, an MMA guy boxed with boxing rules against the best the boxing world had to offer. And the MMA guy won no less than 5-6 rounds of the 10 the fought in. The MMA guy should not have won a single round of boxing, with boxing rules, with a professional boxer, much less the best the boxing world has to offer.
Hahahaha

Wait, bbbut but i thought cawner said he was boxing??

NOPE, he exposed his lack of boxing ability with no boxing experience, only backed up by his useless shit talk and his legion of nuthuggers.

the irony is that his shit talk sold the ppv...

He got second place in a match where there was only two.

Conor's fans are in denial mode that they will hold on to any hope! They've been victimized by the money fight, but can't seem to understand the jig is up; it's called the Dunning and Kruger effect syndrome; they think they're smarter than they really are and once confronted, they either attack you or think the truth is fake like fake news! Do you understand the words that are coming out of this post?

With this post, you exposed yourself.

Gassed inside 9 mins, and his 'power' didn't translate.

If anything, he devalued mma, and confirmed this sport as a jack of all trades; master of none.

Master of all combat sports actually. Any one dimensional martial artist like a boxer would be child's play to an MMA fighter in a real fight.

Your post is full of fallacies and showcases how uneducated you are.

1- Conor faced an older version of Floyd, using a strategy that he usually doesn't use. So comparing his performance to the guys who faced a much younger and in better shape Floyd is just dumb.

2- Pacquiao earned Floyd's respect during the fight and actually landed punches that had real danger behind them. Conor didn't.

3- Conor faced a 40 yo old guy, 20 pounds lighter, way past prime, inactive for 2 years, known for not having power and got stopped by him. Conor got stopped by the worst version of a guy known for not finishing fights and you think he exposed boxing? Can you even identify the irony here?

4- Floyd barely trained for this fight and played right into Conor's strenghts, and Conor still couldn't do nothing. Most of his punches were horrible, didn't land anything significant, broke the rules over a dozen times and got outworked by the smaller, older man. Won 3 rounds that Floyd basically gave to him by barely throwing anything and that's it.

5- Floyd is not the best boxer in the world, just like Michael Jordan is not the best basketball player in the world. People age and lose abilities. The Floyd Conor faced is like 20% of the Floyd Canelo faced. Wake up!

6- Conor comes from a sport that has had guys with barely any training and experience beating world class MMA fighters. Brock Lesnar had only 2 wins in his record when he became the world champion. Let me know when boxing gets a linear world champion with a record of 2-1. MMA has been way more exposed than boxing over the years. It has been proven several times that it is way easier to get to the top of MMA than to the top of boxing. Get your facts straight.

Lmao dude got finished by a

40 year old
2 years retired
Ran for his training camp
Weighed 147 pounds

On his professional debut he fought the greatest of his generation who had retired twice before with a longer layoff in one of them and landed more shots on him than all but 3 of his 49 previous opponents.

Between a school teacher beating the piss out of Manny and now this, Boxing has been badly exposed!
