Conor PPVs vs UFC in its entirety!!!

I decided to compile every Conor PPV vs every single UFC PPV since UFC 200 for some stupid reason.

UFC 189: ~ 1,000,000
UFC 193: ~ 1,000,000
UFC 196: ~ 1,300,000
UFC 202: ~ 1,600,000
UFC 205: ~ 1,600,000
UFC 229: ~ 2,400,000

Total: ~ 8,900,000 PPVs

UFC 228: ~ 130,000
UFC 227: ~ 300,000
UFC 226: ~ 380,000
UFC 225: ~ 250,000
UFC 224: ~ 85,000
UFC 223: ~ 350,000
UFC 222: ~ 260,000
UFC 221: ~ 130,000
UFC 220: ~ 380,000
UFC 219: ~ 380,000
UFC 218: ~ 230,000
UFC 217: ~ 875,000
UFC 216: ~ 200,000
UFC 215: ~ 100,000
UFC 214: ~ 860,000
UFC 213: ~ 130,000
UFC 212: ~ 200,000
UFC 211: ~ 300,000
UFC 210: ~ 300,000
UFC 209: ~ 300,000
UFC 208 : ~ 200,000
UFC 207: ~ 1,100,000
UFC 206: ~ 150,000
UFC 204: ~ 290,000
UFC 203: ~ 475,000
UFC 201: ~ 240,000

Total: ~ 8,595,000 PPVs

Conor McGregor has sold more PPVs than the UFC has in total in the last 2 and a half years. This consists of 27 PPVs without Conor! This also accounts for a Ronda PPV, a GSP PPV and Bones vs DC 2! And then 24 PPVs on top of that!

This also hasn't taken into account Conor vs Floyd which sold over 4 million PPVs and if I did the math I'd probably end up pre Zuffa when comparing Conor alone vs UFC PPVs without him.

This took me fookin ages to compile. Khabib bless.

Or....We can go back to the 08-11 days, when their was a shitload of big name fighters and no Conor....and big selling PPV cards were way more frequent.

Jul 11, 2009 UFC 100: Lesnar vs. Mir 1,600,000[243] $82 million
Jul 3, 2010 UFC 116: Lesnar vs. Carwin 1,160,000
May 29, 2010 UFC 114: Rampage vs. Evans 1,050,000
Oct 23, 2010 UFC 121: Lesnar vs. Velasquez 1,050,000
Nov 15, 2008 UFC 91: Couture vs. Lesnar 1,010,000 $47 million
Dec 27, 2008 UFC 92: Evans vs. Griffins 1,000,000
Jan 31, 2009 UFC 94: St-Pierre vs. Penn 2 920,000
Aug 8, 2009 UFC 101: Declaration 850,000
Apr 30, 2011 UFC 129: St-Pierre vs. Shields 800,000
Dec 11, 2010 UFC 124: St-Pierre vs. Koscheck 2 785,000
Dec 30, 2011 UFC 141: Lesnar vs. Overeem 780,000
Mar 27, 2010 UFC 111: St-Pierre vs. Hardy 770,000

MMA was simply better back then....I feel if we had a shitload of stars right now......We will get a shitload of good numbers....but MMA is weak right now, and people only think of Conor.

A lot of PRIDE stars, Brock and GSP were responsible for the PPV sales. UFC has never been good at creating stars.

UFC 200 is the tipping point. That is when UFC sells more than Conor. I could have and it would have been close. I just wanted to go back as far as Conors total took me.
So you openly admit that you just ran numbers to prove your point instead of trying to do an actual analysis. Do you work for the government by chance?

He just lost and celebrities seem to love him more than ever. It's almost as if Conor can do no wrong. I think they respect a man who'll take on any challenge, even though he's going to lose.

It concerns me that you have the first list of PPVs in an ascending order, then the other in descending

Just wait.

Habib vs Mayweather in the sweet science will sell 10 mil.

EASILY.

Convenient using just the last two years of non-Conor PPVs when PPV buys were in a steady decline

Why did you leave off UFC 200? Seems pretty odd. Why not go back to UFC 189 since that is your Conor start date?

So you openly admit that you just ran numbers to prove your point instead of trying to do an actual analysis. Do you work for the government by chance?

Fixed for you all. The numbers are still insane.

Thanks @FrankieNYC

Hey man
Not nit-picking but since you did so much work
Those numbers are wrong

202 = 1.5m
205 = 1.3m

But good stuff

@Myrddin Wild keeps track so I tagged as well

Cheers man. I just used tapology.
Oh wow... wonder where Tapology is getting their resources. Didn't anyone sit back & look into those 2 numbers being the same? haha... guess we've seen that before though. Perhaps they should consult us on these matterz.

Actually I just looked and Tapology had 205 correct
they were just off on 202 & I told you that would happen a lot

He really is the golden pinata. Built his name by winning, now 0-1 in boxing 2-2 vs lightweights, with only losses on the horizon: Khabib, Floyd rematches, GSP, ..even Nate would be a struggle.
