Conor would dust Frankie at 145 or 155 at any point of their careers. Thats not even a debate for me. Frankie is a pitter patter, high volume brawler that leaves his chin exposed way too much. Mcgregor eats him for lunch. He is so tiny that i think he would have a real hard time closing distance or even taking him down.

Chad was still getting hurt in between takedowns, even his takedowns Mcgregor made him work for them

Conor had success, sure, but let's not act like he had any hope of getting up unless Chad made the mistake of going for a sub (which he did).

Chad was so gassed that he was desperate, he knew that he couldn't go another 15 minutes and he knew that trying to get him down again at the start of the third, fourth or fifth rounds was going to be a pain. He forced submissions that weren't there, they weren't even close. You shouldn't be in half guard and be trying to advance to mount and trying to grab an opponents neck at the same time whilst the opponent's head is on the mat. He was trying to go for a guillotine choke which is almost impossible to grab from that position, he is the smaller man and he is giving the guy underneath him every chance to scramble back up.

Conor didn't knock Chad out with anything great, he threw a 1-2 at a fighter who had his hands down due to absolute exhaustion, most decent fighters could pull that off.

People are so ignorant to the fact that Conor is so much bigger than Chad and that Chad is a musclebound 145lb fighter who with a little bit of work could EASILY make 135lbs. Meanwhile Conor is a large 155lb fighter.

Let's get it straight. Conor was in fight shape when he offered to fight Frankie. He wasn't light enough to make 145 however which is why he called for a catch weight fight. This means Conor steps in the ring with even more power and it also means Frankie was gonna get his head ripped off.
