Some of the names in the list just prove how contestable the term "notable" is.

Vagueness is a bitch.

Nice, he has a list of some good names, but the majority are mediocre.

Barboza and Alvarez are good wins, but the rest....

He is a fun action fighter, but not a legend.

cant disagree with a username consisting of GOAT's name

Barboza and Alvarez are two great wins. The benson “win” was pretty forgetful and he lost that trilogy.

The rest of the guys outside of those three^^ on cowboys resume might not even have 1 top 5 win combined, just skimming through the names quickly...

All that aside, cowboy has always been a hell of a fighter and has a great highlight reel. I’ll always get excited for his fights.

Don't you ever claim Patrick Cote and James Krause as notable wins lol.

Idk, respect to him, not my favourite fighter by any stretch

He's the Michael Bisping of 155

What a dogshit post this is. Mediocre? What about the frequency he rights at. Dude never takes any time.off and is constantly ready to.battle. the problem is that anytime.he was probably ready to fight, the higher ranked guys were either hurt.or booked. If he fought once a year like most of.these guys he could.pick and choose his opponents. He didn't just fight these guys, he fucking destroyed most of them in style. Cerrone is an absolute legend and IMO the greatest fighter to have ever competed without winning a belt.

real notable wins are Brown, Benson, Alvarez, Barboza

Cerrone maybe the most consistently inconsistent fighter. If he was a bit more of a gamer and was better able to get out of his own head he could have been a champion. But his weird relationship with the fight game is part of his appeal as a fighter so... Que sera sera I guess.

Who cares about how often he fights? If he took time off to improve and if he were actually able to beat any of the top 10, maybe he would be a legend. He is fun, but not a top fighter and has never been.

real notable wins are Brown, Benson, Alvarez, Barboza
What's your criteria for notable wins? Plenty of guys on there who are ranked fighters that you didn't mention.

Story beat prime Hendricks and Gunnar and had never been tko'd, Benson was the former champ, Eddie was a future champ, Jury was 15-0, Barboza is one of the best at 155.
If we're doing MMAMath let me know
I can do better math than anyone else on the forum
