Cracks in the EU: Ongoing Discussion

And I do actually agree with Poland stands on the refugee crisis. I just have an issue with how they handle it.
If you are in a Union like the EU there are ways of doing things.
Having a nationalist in power desperately trying to stay in power by steering up some Polish nationalism and blaming the Germans on all their issue has not served them well in the past.

Your right if your in a Union there are ways of doing things and unilaterally issuing an open invite to all and sundry is probably not the way , nor is then it a good idea to berate those that did not share your initial enthusiasm for not being keen on taking in all those doctors and engineers you've now decided are surplus to requirements .

I don't want to bash Poland to much. My beef would be more with the other states that used Poland for their own interest and left them out to dry and be invaded by the Germany first chance they got.
They simply tricked Poland into not negotiating with Germany by giving them a guarantee to interfere they never had any interest of obeying too.
Just to be totally fine with the Soviets invading them two weeks later.

The same countries that conspired against Poland and Germany than are the once doing ti now. American capitalist, the British and the Russians.
And the poles are falling for it again. Poland is single greatest benefactor of the EU. Is tricked into it again.
That being said the EU needs to take Poland's concern serious.
But if they would be so stupid to turn away from Europe again. They just have to look at history and see what happened the last time.

Yes it's everyone else's fault that Germany invaded poland

What is there to take pride in being German?

From a historical point nothing, IMO you can't be proud of something you haven't contributed to. You can die being proud of your achievements to the Reich.
But what we have dreamed of for centuries has become reality. The unification of the European people.
We have won the power in Europe, now we have to win over the European people.

To do that we need that every German with caretaker, decency and loyalty to the Fatherland declares the unification as the the Kampfziel.
No one can expect that the new Reich will just fall from the sky into our labs. Everything is rooted in your own work.
In ourselves lies the future of the European people. Only if we raise the European people through our own labor our own determination our own sacrifices.
Only then the Reich will raise again. Just like our forefathers too, the Reich is not a gift we have to create it ourselves.

Long live the Solicit democratic European movement, long live Germany.

Work will set Europeans free huh? Maybe Germany can make that a new slogan.

Or

Work will set the EU free.

From the source in the article: "Timmermans said he was concerned about four recent Polish legislative measures, including a law that would revamp the National Council of the Judiciary (KRS), the body that nominates Poland’s top judges, ending the terms of its 15 judges and allowing parliament, where the ruling party Law and Justice party (PiS) has a narrow majority, to nominate their successors."

This is not about immigrants. You know, the only subject you guys seem to care about, but there actually exist other political subjects out there believe it or not. The reaction from the commission is based on the fact that a EU country is starting to absolve basic principles of rule of law.
The above is only the tip of the iceberg. Poland has been gradually moving more and more towards an authoritarian state (very similar to Turkey), and more and more away from basic democratic principles. It is quite concerning.

Ironically one of the big reasons for Brexit is the fact that Poland got accepted into the EU. The inclusion of Poland in 2004 into the EU was extremely unpopular across the EU, and is still quite unpopular among right wing circles in western and northern Europe today (even though they are more focused on muslims these days). Unlike the U.K, Poland is still not an important member in an economic sense for the EU, however the EU is extremely important for the economy in Poland. They will not have a lot to bargain with.

Let's hope they turn it around. Even though crime rates skyrocketed across western Europe when they initially joined, I have defended their membership a lot. And as it turned out crime rates from polish citizens across the EU have steadily declined in the past 7 years or so, and I was getting very optismistic on their behalf. So this is quite disapointing to see.

It's certainly the case that the Germans have a special responsibility aside from their obvious vested interest in keeping the EU project going as it largely came about as a mechanism to make them and the French play nicely .

Europeans actually work?
I thought they worked less hours than all the countries in the north america continent combined.

What you have dreamt of you just recently destroyed for good once and for all. Not very united given one of the two nuclear powers just bailed on you disney tales of a united Europe. Fraulein Merkel ruined whatever unity there was left with her muslim love. Id say Europe was never nor will it be ever united, the only reason that at all united the west was the fear of the soviet bear and suckling on Americans ample safety bosom for 50 years.

You must mean long live Islamic germany, that's the only being in germany with any long life ahead of it. The reich you dream of as the nazis did is already crashing and burning from within. You speak of loyalty yet millions of soon to be new germans citizens have none for germany and they never will. But they do have plenty hatred for you your system your ways and especially you reich. No german doctrine will never overcome their religious zealotry.

Germany's future is now a muslim one and as that one of strife war mass rape terror murder and poverty. No reich tales left to hope for and to believe in given the dire german demographics.

Long live Bavaria, they still have a chance. They just need to bail on the bastard islamic quasimodo that is germany before it destroys them.

Poland will never leave. Missing out on the billions they leech of the EU every year would put them right back at 3rd world shithole status really fucking quick.
Not to mention all the people from Poland working in other EU countries (Poland is still a place people want to leave)

Yet quickly becoming the place "Europeans' want to go to for safety, unless the typical french german swedish muslim rape and terror fetish is more their forte.

pendulum swings.

Fortress Poland. Didn't around a million Poles just observe a call to prayer all along the 2,000 mile border? Not only a call to prayer for the nation, but an observance of the victory of Lepanto in 1571 when Poland threw back the Ottoman Turks...

Just wondering, where are you from since you think you know where Europeans want to go?

In my country, nobody would ever want to go to Poland to live there.
In reality it is the other way around. Amount of Poles coming here keeps increasing.
PPV leader Geert Wilders even opened a hotline a few years ago for Dutch people to complain about Poles:

The Dutch far-right Freedom Party (PVV), a key ally of the centre-right coalition government, on Wednesday (8 February) opened up a website to collect complaints about people from Central and Eastern Europe residing in The Netherlands.

"Did you lose your job to a Pole, a Bulgarian, a Romanian, or any other Central or Eastern European? We would like to hear about it," it says on the website Hotline Central and Eastern Europeans.

Lepanto was a naval engagement in the Med , don't think the Poles featured to prominently in that one .

'In my country", that implies you actually rule and have control of your own land which you do not.

I think you meant to say in your Brussels ruled state.

Tarnow, east Poland. Currently renting a flat to a irishman who's here on business. He's moving his whole family, per his wording life here is much safer and that his pay goes far. I don't doubt it he does business with Groupy Azoty.

I sure most don't want to, until a few muslim youth's enrich your wife/daughter as the kufir slut she is to them. Or you get murdered by a moroccan gang.

As i said "Yet quickly becoming" thus implies it's still not that "YET" there but it's quickly becoming. Maybe such nuance is lost in translation.

So a more educated harder working Pole, a Bulgarian, a Romanian, or any other Central or Eastern European took the job of a lazy ignorant entitled Dutch. Cry me a river, hey maybe if you regain sovereignty and control your own land's you can boot them out take those jobs back ? It is "your" land is it not lol, why are you letting foreigner's take your jobs. How weak and pathetic are you as a nation. Maybe as pathetic as your football team ?

I undestand it's hard to accept valhalla lost its appeal with the rape epidemic grenades and knife attacks ex.

But hey maybe thor can rescue you and remind your people you once were men and had balls.

This is surely the end of the Reich says increasingly nervous Untermensch since 1815.
The Reich has never been more united, more peaceful or more prosperous than in our time.

Wouldn't argue prosperous.

Why lie about the others ?

Anyone can research and see your rising crime stats, plus you are facing domestic terror threats like never before. And when in german history other than recent times have hundreds of german women in a single german city been raped/attacked sodomized robbed and brutalized ? So no not more peaceful, kein bisschen kraut.

As far as united, your major political parties have not been this weak for 50 years, and a modern nazi party tool 13% of your parliament.

What fucking unity are you talking about ? last time you people had unity you nearly exterminated the jews.

You are quite a factious deceiver or a fool.

I think qualified labor is actually something Poland and other Eastern European have to offer the EU.
Of course it needs to be handled better. But Germany's economy already depends on those workers.

You have to make sure they don't undercut wages to far etc.
But we do have a real shortage in nurses and people in elderly care. And its only getting worse.
So I would like to see an effort to make sure people from Eastern and Southern Europe have the level of education/training to take those jobs where they are needed.
Because those unfilled position will be a real strain on the economy in Germany or Northern Europe.
