Cro Cop is on an eight fight winning streak

I love me some Mirko, but the man is a science project at this point. However, I'll happily watch him punch people in the face for another decade.
 
mind was completely blown when I heard this stat this morning.
 
Some decent names on that win streak too.

Satoshi Ishii x 2, avenging Gabriel Gonzaga, and King Mo. Very nice twilight years.

You are a retard. By the time he was in the ufc he already had 20 plus mma fights and 25 plus kickboxing fights at the highest level combined with being 35 starting in the ufc and multiple injuries. Goofball

You said it, 8 months after pride, only 8 months to adapt to the cage and new ruleset, elbows, etc...

Mirko had a double vision because he got hurt by eblows in the Gonzaga fight.

Did you see how Mirko used elbows against Gonzaga in the rematch ? Did you see how experience is important ? He cut the grand canyon on Gonzag's face.

Try better next time.

Totally different rules and everything in America.

No fence humping and wall n'stall in ring, no clinching for minutes, no circling away in big space, no distance and reach management, you cant take a step back at his every fient because you are in corner or at the ropes after 2 steps in any direction.

Just good old fashioned kickboxing in the ring that he transitioned extremely well from K-1 with added takedown defence.

What was gameplan of Kongo, Mir and Schaub, and what did they do = just try to clinch Mirko on the fence for 10 minutes to tire him and to impose their size advantage, and they spent the rest of the time circling away in big space.

You over rate American unified rules and UFC cage and environment insterad of realizing their many flaws.

Cro Cop showed how good he is in the ring, on much bigger sample of tough fights than UFC stars.

Cro Cop has been fighting since 1996 what do you expect? In over 20 years of fighting as a striker you will have your ups and downs. Anybody who has been following Mirko knew that wasn't the same Cro Cop when he was in the ufc. Dude wasn't even being aggressive or pulling the trigger whatsoever and injuries were piling up (torn right bicep, multiple knee issues). He even said it in numerous interviews that he was going through a mental block. I can understand if CC was pulling the trigger and being aggressive but still getting beat but this guy would just stand there and barely do anything. It was a weird time. Go watch CC fight Al-Turk when he was in the UFC. That's CC in a nutshell while he was in the UFC.


Then we he went back to k1 in 2012 it seemed like he finally got over that mental block and injuries. Now he's being aggressive and pulling the trigger like the old CC. Of course his speed and quickness is gone but the aggressiveness is there. UFC Mirko would have lost to King Mo and Amir. It's a huge night and day difference

And Aliakbari who is an absolute wrestling beast. Admittedly, his striking wasn't that amazing, but it's improving.
 
Great to see him getting another win. Would love to see him avenge any of his losses before he retires. Kongo should ask for a fight in Japan since he isn’t in the Bellator tournament

I don't mind Cro Cop doing these annual events so long as he doesn't fight any killers. He's still a brute, but he's slowed down a great deal. On the flip side, fights like these are hallow and almost shouldn't count.
 
I still think he should have stayed retired after winning last year
 
TK was what we all thought it would be-a squash match. Enjoyed watching Mirko beat King Mo,Baruto and Amir but dont care to see him fight cans like TK. Hoping his last fight or fights arent more squash matches.
