Huh. Nancy Pelosi told me these "children" (almost all are adults) are all upstanding members of society. Two points, and then the story below.

First, the claims of the Democrats on this issue are not true. These are not "children" (they are almost all adults), and they are not all upstanding citizens.

The second point is that by seeing stories about "bad" DACA recipients, people will get a more balanced view of the issue. If you spend a bit of time to think about it, you'll see how the media has framed the issue in a biased manner. Just think about the use of the term "Dreamer" as a starting point.

-----------------------------------------------------
  • Accused killer Judas Deluna, 21, is an illegal alien who is currently under the Obama-era Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) amnesty program.
  • The current murder charges stem from a shooting that occurred outside DJ’s Food Mart in northwest Harris County, Texas in January. It is believed that Deluna got into a fight with another man. He fled to his vehicle where he reportedly pulled a gun and shot the man he was fighting with. When the store owner’s son, Rahman Rupani, responded to the shooting, Deluna allegedly shot him as well. Rupani died from his wounds.

Deluna fled the scene in a Black Lincoln Navigator, according to a criminal complaint obtained by Breitbart Texas.
  • Deluna may have obtained the DACA protection despite a prior history of felony arrests and convictions.
  • Court records obtained by Breitbart Texas from Harris County District Clerk Chris Daniel’s office show that Deluna received a felony conviction for a terroristic threat made in 2015.
  • He has been on the run since the January 26 shooting.
  • Deluna’s illegal alien father, Manuel Deluna, is also a violent felon who is currently facing deportation proceedings.
Crime appears to be the family business. Judas Deluna’s older brother, Eric Deluna, also has a violent criminal history that includes convictions in state court in 2005 of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and a 2011 case of Aggravated Robbery with a Deadly Weapon, according to Harris County court records obtained by Breitbart Texas.

ABC's Willey reported that Eric Deluna planned to ambush a Los Zetas cartel drug shipment in Houston. The shipment was actually part of a federal sting operation. The sting turned violent when a gun battle ensued. A federal informant died in the shootout and a Harris County deputy sheriff was wounded. The older Deluna brother received a 30-year prison sentence.
  • Judas Deluna remains a fugitive at this time. His victim, Rhaman Rupani, leaves behind a grieving wife and two young children.

Point proven. No need for any replies, this is proof positive that can't be controverted.

Speaking of Dreamers....

33 pounds of fentanyl – enough to wipe out Massachusetts – seized in Boston

Boston authorities said they seized more than 33 pounds of fentanyl—enough to kill millions of people—in connection with one of Massachusetts’ biggest drug busts ever.

In announcing the results of a six-month wiretap probe called "Operation High Hopes," prosecutors said the synthetic opioid was being sold on the street by a drug gang with links to Mexico’s notorious Sinaloa Cartel, the drug organization once led by Joaquín "El Chapo" Guzmán.

“I want to be clear about the size and scope here,” District Attorney Daniel Conley said at a news conference Thursday. “Massachusetts’ fentanyl trafficking statute covers quantities greater than 10 grams. That threshold represents less than 1/1000 of the quantity we’ve taken off the street.”

He said the number of overdoses the seized fentanyl could have caused “is truly staggering.”

“Individuals who buy and sell at this level aren’t users,” Conley said. “They’re not small-time dealers, either. They’re certainly not selling to support a habit. They’re trafficking in addictive substances that claim more lives in Massachusetts than all homicides, all suicides, and all car crashes, statewide, combined.”

The Boston Herald quoted a law enforcement source as saying that the 33-plus pounds of fentanyl is enough to kill more than 7 million people in its raw form. Massachusetts population is 6.8 million.

Authorities said the biggest fish netted in the probe, conducted by Boston police and agents from the federal Drug Enforcement Agency, was Robert Contreras, 42, of Boston. He was arrested at his home Thursday and is being held in lieu of $1 million bail.

Conley said the probe’s initial focus was a Contreras customer, Edward Soto-Perez, 43, of Boston.

He said he took the “rare step of approving a wiretap” because Soto-Perez had been so adept at protecting the addresses of his stash houses and the identities of his suppliers.

Conley said the wiretap eventually led to Soto-Perez's biggest supplier, Contreras, and established Contreras' direct ties to the Sinaloa cartel.

The DA said 36 others were also arrested in the probe and that investigators also seized cocaine, heroin, two guns and $300,000 in cash. http://www.foxnews.com/us/2018/02/0...-wipe-out-massachusetts-seized-in-boston.html

Are any of them DACA recipients though? Trying to stay on the topic of DACA because it's coming down the legislative pipeline soon.

Huh. Nancy Pelosi told me these "children" are all upstanding members of society. Don't accept the Left's lies.

You just want to find an excuse to hate on people you don't like. This line of thinking is incredibly ignorant.

White people commit murders too you know.

The Dreamers are a huge group. Nearing a million or so, I believe.

If you want to make an argument to send them home you're going to have to come up with something better than finding a few criminals. Any population that size will have criminals.

Condolences to the victim, by the way, who's death will undoubtedly be turned into a political talking point for people who don't actually care.

Wrong. A nation should know what it's getting into before granting amnesty to 700,000 illegal immigrants. The Democrats have been telling us these "children" are all upstanding citizens. But here we see yet another case of these "kids" who are "upstanding citizens" committing heinous crimes.

Your use of the PR term "Dreamers" indicates you're taking a rosy-eyed view of things.

Nearing a million or so, I believe.
690,000

If you want to make an argument to send them home you're going to have to come up with something better than finding a few criminals.
Of the 690,000, how many criminals do we need to find before you decide it might not be a good idea to give these people citizenship?

Condolences to the victim, by the way, who's death will undoubtedly be turned into a political talking point for people who don't actually care.

We want less victims in the future. That's why we care.

4,000 names of ex military people added to the no guns list.

Why stop there? There's clearly a problem with a portion of military people going out and shooting people. Let's just ban everyone in the military from using guns. Only way to be safe!
Those people are actually Americans. We can't get rid of them. We must deal with them ourselves. No need to import other countries' problems.

So because he said that, now you don't have to address the story, good tactics man I like the way you run away. It's kind of like branding someone a racist therefore everything they say and do is invalid and there doesn't need to be a thought about it all, totally dismissal

A good friend of mine was brought here from Ecuador as a kid. He did well in school, earned a scholarship and he eventually graduated and got a job as an engineer. He immediately brought structure to a struggling department, so they promoted him to Engineering Manager. He did that for a bit and is now working on an MBA that he's able to pay for from his own pocket.

Exemplary dreamer. As far as I'm concerned the score is 1 to 1

this is incredible lol .. the mentality some of you have .. completely cucked and defeated ..you're going to have to come up with a better argument as a reason to send them home ? lol yes defend those illegals .. how about they're in the country illegally and they're not supposed to be here ?

Americans are Dreamers too.

Your friend seems like a nice guy and an upstanding citizen. In an ideal world, I would like him to stay. Unfortunately, giving amnesty to him and the other 1.8 million DACA-eligible individuals will send a message to other people from poor nations that they can send their kids to the US illegally and eventually expect a path to citizenship. Remember the surge of unaccompanied minors from El Salvador at the border after DACA was enacted?

As far as I'm concerned the score is 1 to 1
But Nancy Pelosi's comments indicate that it's 690,000 to 0. That's demonstrably false.

That clearly went over your head.
Actually, I think it went over your head. You're attempting to use satire to illustrate your point that we shouldn't make policy decisions based on few bad apples. I'm saying there is no need to import bad apples, period.

Judas <45>The fuck is wrong with his parents. Poor kid never stood a chance in life.
The father is also a violent felon facing deportation proceedings. So there's that.
