Dana White calls DC the baddest UFC LHW champion of all time

Daniel Cormier has 9 fights at LHW and is 7 - 1 - 1; two of which are against MW's and he's a former HW. His best wins are Rumble x2 and Gus. His divisional resume is so poor I'm astounded when people call him the GOAT LHW when you have tons of guys that you can put in front oh him. Relative to other past champions he's top 5-10 imo, in terms of absolute skillset he's top 5, maybe top 3.

DC is 20-1-1 with his only lost to a known drug cheat. He also had the balls to fight at HW. Jones is 22-1-1

DC best wins are the same best wins for Jones.

honestly if DC was just a few years younger he might have become the MMA GOAT

only loss to a confirmed cheater. He's 13-0 at HW with wins over Nelson, Prime bigfoot, prime barnett, Mir. Then he's also got the 7 wins at 205 like Hendo, Rumble x2, Gus, and Volkan

the guy is fucking insanely accomplished especially when you consider his age

I agree, no other LHW champ moved up to fight the HW champion.

You mean he beat up a bunch of old guys that were ready to retire.
Fun fact most of Jon Jones opponents were vets in their 30's winning fights while Jon Jones was a rookie 23-27 beating them all.

No one who was a fan of the sport past 2009 is dumb enough to believe what you just wrote wasn't bs, before 2015 light heavyweight was the most stacked incision in the UFC. Jon Jones beat all his opponents at their peek comming off winning streaks. Former world champions who beat each other and they all lost to the one true GOAT. No one is going to argue that Rashad Evans, Lyoto Machida, Rampage Jackson, Vitor Belfort Chael Sonnen were past their primes in 2012 -2013.

If you want to point out a fighter who looked like shit pre USADA but is doing well against old past their prime heavyweights in their late 30's and got rocked by a novice in Francis ngannou you have your answer in Stipe Miocic.

That fact that you put Sonnen in there shows you weren't watching back then. Sonnen was a MW with a 500 record. Rampage was for sure on a major decline by then.

LHW was the best division for a long time. But the long time fighters were on the decline.

Dana being Dana. Guy doesn’t stop tryin to promote the next event.

my chocolate bear cant be the baddest champion.

he is the sweetest lhw champion of all time.
<{1-7}>

HW fights don't matter at LHW.

they're gonna start editing Jon out like the WWE did with Benoit
