facebook is dogshit. got off of it a year ago when everyone suddenly decided they were political experts despite having never given a shit their entire lives

I find it hilarious ppl are in an uproar about facebook keeping tabs on them, of course their keeping tabs on you every fucking app you download is they even tell you in the terms of agreements they want access to your media, phone calls, location etc. They have companies that gather your DNA and send you some BS results back about your ancestry cause those companies want your DNA. Those fucking stupid snap chap filter dog face thing map your entire face so cameras can identify who you are. This has been going on for years its basically a surveillance state your phone is a GPS tracking device/wiretap. Hackers can take pics of you jerking off on your webcam whether you think its on or off and use it to blackmail you, you agree to the terms of use to use the wi fi at Mcodonalds guess what dickface now Mcdonalds has access to everything on your phone too. People that are just waking up to this are fucking retards, if your not gonna pay attention fine but don't act all upset when its clearly been in front of your face for years but you had your head too far up your ass to notice.

Never understood why Facebook won out over MySpace.

Myspace had ugly custom profiles with music and graphics that would load up. Facebook was clean and launched into colleges and quickly took over social circles as it was much more efficient at sharing things. Once Facebook started becoming really mainstream it outgrew what was once cool about it and became a giant platform for people to share stupid political ideas and it was a breeding ground for arguments. All of the college kids who were using it in 2007 are now in there 30s and sharing pics of your babys is lame compared to the original days. The younger kids today see it as a site that their teachers and parents are on so it lost it's value.

Facebook is the only social media outlet I have. I don't have it on my phone though. Hash tagging about deleting Facebook seem kind of arbitrary though. It reminds when people brag about not having a TV, but own a computer.

the only thing i can say is the music on the profiles was FUCKING ANNOYING.... yeah I already saw one idiot saying he liked the music....YOU LIKED your music motherfucker....go listen to it in your fucking room!.... so yeah I can say that was ONE thing that might have turned off people from Myspace.... it was annoying going to see a profile to a blasting sound of a STUPID song that only the person on the profile liked

Sounds like a great idea actually, the original, what happened to it why did people,jump ship, it seems like people are followers and latch onto whatever is pushed by the masses as popular.

Myspace was the best, you still had privacy and didnt need to show them an id if you lost your password like facebook requested of me, facebook when it first started was a private network for college students.
