Hello, I am currently a senior in high school, and this log is to keep myself accountable for what I eat from now until late Summer.

As the title says, I am headed off to basic training in the US military, specifically the United States Air Force. This log is to log down what I eat, so I can keep track of my journey from now until I ship out.

Height: 67 inches/1.70 Meters.
Weight:145 pounds/ 65.77 Kilograms.

Goal: Drop 5 pounds and maintain that weight.

Let's beginning.
 
Breakfast: Banana and boiled egg
Lunch: Brown rice, broccoli, and chicken.
Dinner: Brown rice, broccoli, chicken, potatoes.
 
Breakfast: 375ml water+250ml 2% milk with a hand full of kale, three fourths of an Orange, 1 Apple, 8 Green Giant baby carrots, half an Avocado, and a tea spoon of Chia Seeds.

Lunch:Fiber One 90 Calorie Lemon Bar, Chocolate Peanut butter Zone Perfect Nutrition Bar, EAS AdvantEDGE Carb Control 100 Calories French Vanilla, 1 Croissant.

Dinner: 1.25 bowls of white rice, white chicken, beef, avocado salad with kale and lettuce, potatoes, and soup.

Miscellaneous: 2 Vitafusion Men's gummies, two mini cookies, 45 Calorie Gatorade.

Fluid Intake: 50 fluid ounces at the least.

Weight just before dinner: 142.5 pounds.

Lunch: Fiber One emon Bar, white bread sandwich with two slices of ham and mayo.
Dinner: One bowl of white rice, roast beef, vegetables, potatoes.

Miscellaneous: 2 Vitafusion gummies, 6 girl scouts thin mint cookies.

Fluid Intake: At least 50 fluid ounces.

Weight just before dinner: 142.0 pounds.
 
Breakfast: Baby Carrots, three fourths an Orange, half an avocado, 2 stalks of lettuce, one apple in a smoothie that has 250 ml water and 250 milk.

Lunch: Hot dog bun sandwich with two slices of ham and mayo. EAS drink. Zone Perfect Nutrition Bar Chocolate Peanut Butter.

Dinner: 1 bowl of white rice, lettuce, roast beef, potatoes.

Miscellaneous: Bag of potato chips. 100 calories

Fluid Intake: At least least 60 fluid ounces.

Weight just before dinner: 141.5 pounds
 
Breakfast: Ham and egg sandwich with mayo
Lunch: Thin white noodles with beef and vegetables.
Dinner: Bowl of white rowl, two pieces of rib, broccoli, and chicken.

Miscellaneous: 45 Calorie Gatorade, Peanuts, cheese puffs

Fluid Intake: At least 60 fluid ounces

Weight just before dinner:142.0 pounds

No school due to snow day.......Sucks due to VEX being so close.
 
Breakfast: Ham sandwich with mayo on white bread with milk.
Lunch: 90 calorie fiber one bar, Zone Protein bar, EAS drink
Dinner: Rice with marinated chicken and veretables.

Miscellaneous: Peanuts.

Fluid intake: At least 40 fluid ounces.

Weight just before dinner: 141.5 pounds.

Vex tomorrow.
 
What happens to the other 1/4 of an orange ?

Another person in my family eats it.

Ate alot of bad stuff today.

625 ml milk smoothie.

Piece of chocolate
Zone Perfect Fudge Graham bar
Metas on a hot dog bun

Big bowl of white rice
Roast duck
Chinese Vegetables

Scrambled eggs, bacon, bagel, and hash potatoes at church brunch

Peanuts and cheese puffs

White rice, beef, and bok choy.

Fluid intake: At least 20 fluid ounces.
 
Breakfast- Special K strawberry cereal with milk.

Lunch- Zone Protein Fudge Graham Bar, EAS whey drink, low calorie Oreo imitations that I don't know the name of.

Dinner- Red Beans, Chicken, White Rice, Chinese Vegetables, and half an avocado.

Miscellaneous- 2 cookies, 45 cal Gatorade, 2 vitamins.

Fluid Intake- Over 70 Fluid Ounces.

Weight before dinner- 141.5

Breakfast- Smoothie with apples, carrots, grapes, and avocado I believe. Forgot the ratio of water to milk.
Lunch- Zone Protein Peanut butter bar, Fiber One 90 cal bar, EAS whey drink.

Dinner- White Rice, meatballs, broccoli, beans, and chicken.

Miscellaneous- 2 Werther's Original hard candy butterscotch. That was great. Vitamins.

Fluid Intake- Drank a lot of water today, even more than I normally do. Probably 80 fluid ounces or more.

Weight before dinner- 142.0

Lunch- Zone Protein Fudge Grahahm bar, Fiber one bar, EAS Whey drink.

Dinner- Had Boston Market tonight as my parents brought it home. 1 bowl of mashed potatoes with gravy, and two pieces of chicken.

Miscellaneous- Vitamins, 45 cal gatorade.

Flud Intake- 80 fluid ounces or greaterl

Weight before dinner- 140.0
 
Breakfast: Strawberry Special K cereal and milk.
Lunch- Zone Protein Fudge Graham Bar, Fiber One bar.
Dinner- White rice, 4 fried dumplings, half a potato, some noodles, and ham. Drank a cup of milk along with dinner.

Miscellaneous- Vitamins.

Fluid Intake- 50 ounces or greater.

Weight before dinner: 139.5! Haven't broken the 130s, since 7th grade wrestling? This is very good for me.

Note: Searched up intermittent fasting, and thinking about trying that early next month due to school being out for a week and a half.

Intermittent fasting test

Last meal: friday, 19:30

Next meal: saturday 12:30. 1.5 pounds of Egg and potato salad with meatballs.

Meal 2- 16:15. Banana

Meal 3-16:40. Sweet coconut bread.

Meal 4-19:00.white rice, meatballs, tofu, chinese vegetables.

Meal 5-20:30.strawberries.

Fluid intake: drank at least 4 16.9 ounce bottles of water. Probably closer to 100 ounces or more though.

Wanted to test what intermittent fasting is all about, so im going to have a 16 hr fast window and an 8 hr food window.

Very lethargic through the day, though that just might have been the weather.

Will continue this fasting probably for a week before i return to my normal routine.

Here goes nothing.
 
IF, Day 2....

Does Communion of a small vial of grape juice and a tiny piece of bread count as a meal? If so, meal 1 at 11:30.

I personally don't count Communion as a meal, so my official meal window started at 12:50

12:50- 325ml water+200ml milk+handful of Kale+5 baby carrots+1 apple+1 orange+ Chia seeds.

13:45- Unhealthy meal of 3 ice cream puffs and 2 small cookies.

17:35- A few bowls of potato soup with carrots and ham made by sister.

19:45- Bought dinner home from Chiptole. Got the Barbacoa Burrito with White Rice, Lettuce, mild sauce, corn and black beans. Split bag of chips and guacamole with family.

Weight at 12:35- 139.0

Hunger wasn't prevalent at all today, which is definitely a plus.

Fluid Intake- At least 50 ounces, probably at 70 or more though.

Next meal is going to be at 12:40 tomorrow.
 
12:45-Fiber One 90 calorie bar, Zone Protein Fudge Graham, and a small Snickers square.

14:50- EAS Whey Drink.

16:30- 250Ml water+250Ml milk with carrots, kale, chia seeds, 1 apple, and 1 orange.

18:40- White Rice, Broccoli, Tofu, Sausage, cold noodles and onions.

Miscellaneous- Vitamins.

Fluid Intake- Alot. At least 70 ounces. Probably closer to 100 fluid ounces.

Weight at 16:20- 140.5

Switching my eating window from 12-20 to maybe 10:50-18:50. Don't really eat after my dinner anyways. Makes for a better 16:8 leangains style approach anyways.
 
IF Day 4...


10:45- Zone Protein Fudge Graham
12:40- EAS whey Protein
14:50- Oven Baked Cheetos
16:05- 1 Milano Cookie
18:45- White Rice, Chinese vegetables, sausage, tofu, and meat pie.

Fluid Intake- Over 70 ounces.

Miscellaneous- Vitamins.

Weight at 17:20- 140.0

Hunger came on during the day. Wonder how long does it take to get used to IF.
 
Give it about 2 weeks and then your body will become accustomed to IF.

By the way, it looks like you've met your goals already. Are you doing IF for body recomposition?
