If I remember right, Charlie Francis would put the electrodes on the bottom of his sprinters feet. He did that after the workout was over. It's used mostly for rehab but can also be used as a tool to train some weak areas. It can really work certain areas like your abs. You can get very sore by overdoing it. It usually hurts (stings, or burns) when you turn it way up. They probably have better machines out there now that don't feel too bad. EMS will not replace your other training though.
