England used to be a really safe place. Crime is down in the U.S. from fairly high rates while crime in England especially London is up. The actual rates are not what is important it is where the graphs indicate where each country is going. America's got problem but in 100 years America is still going to be America whereas England is undergoing a cultural change it is not coming back from. As to Scotland Yard. How is anyone supposed to know that? Why would London name its top police force Scotland? That is very deceptive.

Back when I was young, a gang of kids were jailed for beating a man to death for defending his son. I'm 37, this was when I was 14.

Not sure if you know England that well, but as an example, Liverpool amongst other cities have huge issues with young teen gangs and have done for 30 years. The gangs I'm talking about are poor white English kids.
