Is it possible that some Africans were in the Americas predating Columbus? I suppose it's possible. There's evidence that some Europeans, Leif Ericson, reached the continent 500 years before Columbus. There's evidence that Native Americans are genetically related to Asians. So, it's possible that there were some Africans or African ancestry that also touched on the Americas. I'd be surprised if the numbers were large though. And I think it would be a stretch to classify them in the same boat as later Africans. The same way we don't classify Native Americans as Asian, despite the much stronger scientifically linked connection.

The unfortunate thing about the Americas and modern history is that so much of the early population died without entering into the annals of written history. An estimated 90% of the indigenous population died, who knows what they looked like, acted like, etc.

It's hard to believe (not really) that some people cannot see how immigration can be used as a tool for overthrowing a nation, and that it is quite possible that this is what can be observed taking place right now at this very moment in time. Mass immigration has crumbled dynasties before.

My only comment on this entire topic is that people who oppose that should also oppose anyone who stands in the way of climate change mitigation efforts since it will render may places inhabitable by 2050 at the current pace. That may may make Donald Trump the worst enemy of people who fear mass immigration. By 2050 (sooner I think), a population the size of Canada or larger will be forced out of Bangladesh/Southern India simply because it will be too hot to sustain life there. And that's not even taking into consideration all the human strife that entails.

Climate change isn't the catastrophe you paint it out to be, what you claim will happen won't happen. Years ago we were told by experts about all these terrible things that would be upon us by now because of climate change, it hasn't happened, they were wrong.

Yes, there was a saying in former Yugoslavia, "fuck the country that doesn't have it's own Bosnia". Great food, nature and people. Bosnian government has allowed thousands of Saudis to buy properties there in the last couple of years, and even native Bosnian muslim are starting to regret it.
