FAHRENHEIT 11/9 (2018) Michael Moore, Donald Trump Movie

can't wait until white people are a minority.

Fuck it, let's just do it already. Minority Me! It'll really just be special interest group time for real, white tears all over the place and very, very annoying for 'people of color' as they're clearly some kind of homogeneous superteam because that is how it works in the real world.

Michael Moore is the epitome of capitalism in the film industry. He Is basically the start of the hard lefts virtue signaling bullshit. Good news is most of the left don’t even take him seriously.

"Fahrenheit 11/9 represents a sincerely bold attempt to capture the overwhelming civic decay that led to our current political crisis, but Michel Moore's circus-showman duplicity is as crass and abhorrently self-promoting as that of Donald Trump."

That comment sums up what I'm expecting from this one.

Farenheit 9/11 helped Bush get reelected. This kind of thing doesn't appeal to anyone that's not already a rabid hater that will believe anything in the first place. His documentaries are boring too. They aren't even funny or entertaining. This is:

Saw this today. I was pleasantly surprised. Fans of Moore's past films will enjoy this for what it is. It's entertaining and surprisingly balanced.

Moore's lawyers were clearly afraid of lawsuits though so he was left insinuating stuff about Trump rather than saying it out loud.

I was shocked how hard he went after Obama although it left me wondering where was the anti-Obama film during his actual presidency? Easy to go after Obama and Hillary now that they are politically irrelevant.

But overall this was a fun romp through the last couple of years in American politics and just as entertaining as it was inaccurate.

Moore fell just short of re-earning the working class hero persona he is clearly hoping to get back but this was a solid outing.

B+ imo

And yes, that review is basically what you're going to get if you see this thing. Moore even inserts himself as the ring leader of some events he was actually just a hanger on at.

It was actually really good.

You snowflakes can relax; it wasn't 100% about Trump.

I remember Stone and Parker being pissed about how he edited them in Bowling for Columbine.

It was hardly about Trump at all.

He said Trunp was fucking his daughter and that he was a Nazi. That's about it.

The Obama stuff was far more interesting since the media didn't cover the fuckups during his presidency.

Is this his first official bomb? $2M opening weekend is pretty awful.

Interesting to see how irrelevant Moore has become. Has no one else seen this?

Fahrenheit 9/11 and Sicko (2007) were full of distortive information and honestly I am not sure how anyone can tolerate a “documentary” from this man. His movies should be categorized as commercialism as that’s soley what they are.

Michael Moore should make a documentary about Michael Moore.

This makes me want to see it. I guess I'll have to stream or something, no theatres near me are showing this.

Didn't read thread thread, but fuck Michael Moore

Micahel Moore called the 2016 election precisely fucking right, down to predicting the exact electoral college path Trump would use to win the presidency. This was in mid summer 2016 when most "experts" were giving Hillary an 85%+ chance of winning.

Like it or him, Moore offers some serious insights into American culture and politics.

Michael Moore should make a documentary about Michael Moore.

Not Moore, but somebody really should expose this shyster.

I'd actually love to see a documentary on the tricks that sham documentaries pull. Put 'em all on blast.

This thing really doesn't even try to pretend to be a documentary. It's pure entertainment. But it is pretty good at being entertaining tbh.
