a fight that was offered to Ruas by Carlson, who didnt take it seriously:

Rousey vs Mayweather. This fight came so fucking close to happening. Contracts were signed.

These two matchups that didn’t happen bummed me out the most.

Honorable mention: Wand/Igor (don’t think it was officially booked tho)
 
Also, Gus vs Little Nog was supposed to happen quite a few times, last I recall it being booked was in 2014 I think.

Aldo vs Pettis at this time in their careers would be a lot of fun. Although Pettis clearly can’t make 145 and I doubt Aldo wants to go up to 155 for anyone other than a top 3 fighter(if he wants to move up at all). It’s a great fantasy matchup but that’s about it. If we are just throwing out unlikely matchups that the fans want... Maybe catch weight at 150?

Ahh how could I forget about Brock/JDS this was back around the time that tuf was still watchable haha
 
I always wondered where conor would be if they chose someone like faber to fill in for rda and he never lost to nate
