This might not be an epiphany to some, but the best way to reheat pizza is...
In a toaster oven.
I know it sounds simple, but it's WELL WORTH IT! If you do it at an appropriately high temperature, you actually get a pizza that is crunchy on TOP. Like the toppings are crispy. And it doesn't dry it up too much if you use a high temp.
I was blown away at the results. It was actually better than the original pizza. If I had any semblance of discipline, I would wait for it to cool down after buying it and toast the MFer.
I read in some stupid internet article a while back to cook it in a skillet or frying pan, but you don't get a crisp top this way. It's also easier in the toaster oven. A microwave leaves the pizza limp like an old man without Viagra. Cold pizza? Meh. If it's so good, why don't joints have an option to serve a room temperature one?
The toaster oven is the way to go, folks. Trust me, you'll thank me later.
