What’s your thoughts on 55gr varmint for HD?

They are undoubtedly nasty fragmenting rounds. However penetration is usually well short of 12" in gel tests. So that is up to you.

The other thing I'll research is a rounds performance on hogs and deer. Speer, tmk, tsx, federal fusion, etc all do very well.
