Fuck what Conor did, his punch was like a herring trying to fuck a whale.
I'm more interested in Floyd's punch. That there shows Floyd's predictive ability. His punch misses Conor's chin and hits Conor just above the collar bone. However Floyd didn't just miss because of inaccuracy throwing his punch; he missed because he thought Conor was ducking his punch so Floyd adjusted mid-throw to aim the punch at where he thought Conor's head was moving to. It turned out that Conor wasn't trying to slip the punch but rather moving for the BOLO uppercut and hence Floyd's punch missed. But regardless of the outcome, it shows that the reason Floyd is so accurate in general is because he is punching where he's predicting the opponent will move to not where he currently is. 90% of the time it works.

People struggle to contain their facial expressions while speaking or even when cutting something with scissors. If you think he is able to "try to keep a poker face" while being uppercutted, then thats almost like it bothered him even less than if he just showed no expression in the first place

Can we just drop it already? Conor hit him ONCE and you people won’t stop talking about it. You had to know ahead of time he wasn’t going to sleep him with boxing gloves on. He’s only slept two people his entire MMA career with 4 ounce gloves. He TKOs people.

A glancing uppercut that hit too early didn't even interrupt Floyd's repositioning. Yea such a dangerous situation Floyd was in. Jesus the asspain from some of the McG nobgobblers need some therapy.

I don't see it at all. He punches as he comes in, the uppercut lands, the momentum of the blow and his own makes him reposition.

I think Paulie had it right when he said McGregor didn't have the right stance to have power on that punch.
And after the fight, McGregor said he regretted not landing that uppercut right. Something about making a small change and it would have been a knock out.

Now he knew what kind of power Conor was working with and that it would fade as the rounds wore on. He took a lot of punches on the arms to measure just how much his strength diminished. When he smelled blood he went for the kill.
Conor never stood a chance. We all just got caught up in the hype.
