Yesterday we saw Sergio Pettis, a contender at FLW being outclassed by a top 10 BW, he was just too small.

So when the UFC cancels the division what are those guys going to do ? Especially the smaller ones, who don't have nor the size, nor the power to fight at 135.
Will they be freed from their contracts and be able to fight in ONE FC or will they need to suffer bad beatings at BW before being released ?

Hopefully ONE, already plenty of good lighter weight scraps there.

Good
Thats what happens when midgets fight real men
Imagine what a 6'4 250 lbs sherdogger would do to them

They should be merging the 125 and 135 divisions into 130, with the Henry-TJ fight headlining UFC 233 for a new unified title.

But no, that would be too smart and generate too much renewed interest in the little guys.

I still want a SHW division...gotta protect the slow fatbodies and giants at HW from these killers moving up from LHW.

Ronda is such an inspiration for so many people. Her slick boxing skills have changed wwe striking for ever

Pettis had no power and is boring at 125 also.

Why is this news.

To be fair, Sergio Pettis is a hot-n-cold decision machine, who was not a consensus contender at FLW.

Yeah when I saw the fight, Sergio just looked Tiny. He can either bulk up, or go to One or Rizin, maybe he should look into Glory's 132 pound class.

WWE wasn't as cringey back when it was in standard def, the roids were plentiful, and the crowds were hot. Shit just looks ridiculous now.

Sergio fought so terribly, he shoulda went southpaw or use his kicks more, he seemed to be trying to get a ko with a pull counter but had no power, also he had no head movement whatsoever just ate all the jabs, guy got exposed big time, his resume is mostly grapplers and he cant beat the elite grapplers either.

To be fair, font is legit and Pettis was never really a formidable guy at Flw. He picked up some decent wins, but as another poster mentioned, he's very hot and cold.
