For those you who had seen Hostel (2005) movie. What you do in this scenario?

That movie starts so well and then goes very pear shaped, pretty horrific tbh.

just find another hot ass, local chick that's not a plant?

have yall been to Eastern/Central Europe?

there's dimes everywhere

Okay, so what's the question? What would you do if one of your friends you were traveling with is missing in the morning, after a wild night?

Honestly, nothing. I would assume they just went off on they're own, because they're an adult, and they will eventually find their way back. I'd give them a solid 24 hours, before I started to question anything.
depends what mate
have mates that are wild and if don't come back not worried

explain more. i agree but cannot really put finger on what

I saw it once years ago, had no idea what it was about. Started well with drugs and hot chicks, then became a pretty scary horror film.

disagree. Solid all way through. Sequels were shit

I meant in terms of the actual film itself, I thought it was good but things declined for the protagonists.

So i am watching it now and like half way. remembre two american guys go to find prostitutes and easy girls in some remote slovakian town they were told about with friend they made along way from iceland. After 1 night out and them all getting laid the iceland guy goes missing. They dont know him well so they just believe he checked out.

Next night josh and paxton two americans are drugged it seems. paxton passes out in some storage closet he thought was bathroom and josh passes out in his bedroom and wakes up in some dungeon and is tortured then killed. Paxton wakes up and realizes his good friend is missing and asks the front desk and they say his friend checked out.

What would you do?

Not go to Slovakia.

Know what you mean
He won at end. Killed the guy in toilet. But died at start of no 2 film. Disappointed

I actually enjoyed the first movie. Good storyline, good acting, good scenes.

Second was okay.

Third was beyond terrible.

Yeah, I guess. If it was the no nonsense guy in the group who went missing, it might raise a red flag.

I guess I can't judge too well, because I'm always the person who goes missing in those situations.

I’d rather not try to bribe a cop there.

You don't even ask to try. They will ask you. If you look terrified, you might have to pay like 100 bucks. I've known lots of people it's happened to. They didn't have much at all, but they had weed on them.

It's a huge deal if you're trafficking though

I just don’t fuck with weed when I’m in Thailand....Cambodia is a bit of a different story but not Thailand. Fuck i need to get out and do some traveling. When I was living in Asia I went all over the place.

As an example, if you want to watch something that doesn't suck, here is a much better movie about losing a person in a foreign country

I have good memories of these movies and i am not into torture porn per se.

As someone who has stayed in hostels in central europe, the movie is an ingenious scare mechanism for those travelling abroad.

I really wanna like Eli Roth but I just can't, his style is just 'off', his camera angles and the way his scenes play out just ain't smooth enough and it looks like an amateur movie yet his ideas are original and good, it's a shame.

He could be the Tarantino of horror but casts terrible actors and the wrong team.
