Fox News Host: the United States "defeated Communist Japan" in World War II

I'd still smash

Of course you would.

I've long held the view that if your news presenter is good looking you would be best served by putting them on mute.

She isn’t there for her intelligence.

Actually, she may have been. Back in the glory days of Roger Ailes "intelligence" was the male Fox executives' code word for pussy.

"I decided to hire Ainsley today, gentlemen. She proved to have a very tight, clean and willing intelligence."

But FOX made it so its important!

Loved how Obama's media handler put it "before we report things like this, checking would be good..."

So your way of dealing with unimportant things is that you post multiple times about it and dig up more examples of the same kind of thing?

To be honest it does seem quite important to you.

To be fair it seems like the guy on the left caught her mistake and tried to correct it by saying "Communism and Japan". But yeah very lolworthy to call Imperialist Japan communist when they were one of the most anti-communist major powers of the 2nd World War

I don't know if you would say they were the most ant-communist. Germany probably had that title. Japan had a socialist economy prior to ww2 and a mixed economy from the start of the war to present. I have read nothing to suggest a war with Russia was inevitable due to ideological differences like with Germany to Russia.

Germany also had some policies that borrowed from socialism as many countries did, primarily as a concession to more moderate leftists elements in the hopes of diffusing the appeal more radical leftists. The Japanese army felt that the Soviet Union was the greatest threat to Japan and the Japanese saw their presence in China as a buffer for the Soviet Union. Japan at the time was highly traditional and thus saw in communism an ideological threat and there were many assassinations of leftists, even fairly moderate ones, by nationalist radicals who often got far more leeway than their leftist counterparts.

To be fair the Japanese navy disagreed with the army and saw the US as the greatest threat to Japan and ultimately that was the confrontation that played out but communism was despised by the Imperial Japanese military establishment.

They're just trying to fit in as many keywords to excite their viewers. Communist, radical islam, freedom, best in the world.

Sort of like the buzzwords liberals use: whatsboutism, tribalism, Nazi, white aupremacist, right wing, alt-right, priveledge etc....

Fake News ?
Or have our history books been lying to us and only Fox tells the truth?

Well I'm so glad that we defeated Communist Japan and Soviet Germany with the help of our allies.

Get a brain morans!

Or is it my way of laughing at those treating this as important...I wonder.
