Wow. Hard to decide who is the biggest asshole in this one. Winklejohn for trying to screw up a fighter's relationship with his manager because he wants him on a card that personally benefits him and pressuring his employees into doing the same. Lester for trashing the guy to appease Winklejohn and then turning around and writing this explanation for it behind his back and talking shit on him. Or this Ricky guy for posting this on social media that will damage his fighter's relationship with the gym and sells out Lester for trying to explain what's going on.

What a bunch of unnecessary drama to deal with. Lester's explanation does corroborate a lot of other rumors about Winklejohn being a greedy prick and ruining the gym tho.

Winklejohn wanted a fighter on a card he was associated with instead of one his manager set up. The fighter balked and Wink trashed his manager and encouraged his striking coach to do the same thing. The manager heard about it and the striking coach wrote a "private message" to him explaining that he trashed him to please his boss. But really supports him. The manager thanked him by posting it on instagram for everyone to see.
