what's with the growly voice? I have also been noticing that and was trying to formulate a comment about it.

i have seen this quite a few times where people (men in particular) go through a little bit of mid-life body transformation, becoming thicker, wider, more muscular, and the transformation is accompanied by a voice that is noticeably more gravelly. i believe it's likely related to some sort of anabolic substance. looking at the shape of frank's head, he's probably taking whatever joe rogan took.

For a highly trained guy like Mir, I don't think the beating he took in his prime were the issue, it's the KO's he took in Bellator and after.
