Seems reasonable to fire her. I'm not aware of any company that promotes talking down to their product's consumers.

And if you do not want feedback, maybe stick to making just vg articles and op-ed pieces somewhere that doesnt have that option.
If you open that can of worms, you should be fully prepared to deal with opposing views. Especially as an employee of a company who is looking to make money.
