This is really well done, I think you've IDed some really key points about his method. GSP is good to study like this because he's such a 'system' fighter.

Thanks man. Agreed, GSP's game really illustrates a lot of important principles and concepts. He was intensely process-driven in all areas and always knew what he needed to do to maximize his chances of success, both in small battles for position and in the larger fight.
 
Great stuff. Gsp stays close and ties them up. Others kinda rock back and then use their momentum to help them coke forwards and strike. Which leads them to getting tied up or sub attempts. Gsp keeps them unable to do anything
