German Interior Minister: Islam does not belong in Germany

Are you a bigger fan of an increasing percentage of the German population being in favor of the extermination of the jews?
The NAZIs were not against the Jewish religion. They were against the ethnicity. The master race were not X religion. They were X ethnic group.

Religion had absolutely zero to do with the holocaust.

The Nazi's were also against the Jewish religion.
If you had, for example, a quarter Jewish blood but were part of the religious community you would not be able to get Reich citizenship as a "mixed race German".
But you would have been considered a full "Jew".
The removal of any Jewish element would have of course also included the Jewish religion.
Which the Nazi's considered part of the problem. There were plenty of Jewish people that were sent to the concentration camp not because they belonged to the ethnic Jewish group but the religious one.

It was mostly ethnic but religion - which is group identity - was a part of it. There were Nazis or persons who worked for them who were Jewish or partly Jewish.

According to historian Bryan Mark Rigg, an Israeli Army and United States Marine Corps veteran, up to 160,000 soldiers who were one-quarter, one-half, and even fully Jewish served in the German armed forces during World War II. This included several generals, admirals, and at least one field marshal, Erhard Milch.[19]

Well technically neither is Christianity or Judaism
really?
its kind of the base of our morality and legality. Like, not in its entirety as we have moved past mich of the Old Testament, but, those early Christians massively influenced Rome, which carried on its power as the Holy Roman Empire, which ended up in Germany.
Ive always felt like our culture are the barbarians who took over from Rome, but were influenced by Rome, who was influenced by Greece and Israel.
Many other flavors thrown in, but our sense of accountability for wrong doings, rules on relationships, crime and punishment.... its all very in accord with the bible, at least in a general sense, wherein things like how to treat homos has softened... although, Jesus himself is a softening of older, more hardstance views.
Thats really the difference I see ..... uhh, fuck it, im drunk

lol

Unbelievable, the impulsively dumb shit people will say sometimes.

Yeah go read the bible n try to implement 2000 year old middle eastern laws in today’s world n tell me how’s that working for you (if you didn’t end up in jail by then of course)

So you think Romans n Greeks didn’t have morals or laws?

It’s funny how ppl think morality n ethics come from the bible

It’s universal to all humans in some form or another

You think Europeans didn’t have the notion that killing/stealing is wrong n with the arrival of Christianity all these things disappeared?

You could make an argument that Europe (Rome/Greece) were pretty advance societies for their time n once Christianity became they have fallen back.

Is it coincidence that dark ages happen when Christianity took over in Europe n scientific revolution n the Age of Enlightenment happen when ppl slowly liberated them selves from Christian doctrine where everything in life is meaningless n it’s all about the afterlife

Hitler actually wished the Germans had adopted a warlike religion like Islam.

Tolerance of intolerance is no virtue. Tolerating Islam isn't being tolerant, because it is a fascist racist ideology.

JFC.

When you get on the topic of Islam, you go from generally decent poster to absolute moron at light speed.

Tbh the fall back was about the fall of the Roman Empire, and before that by the decline and decay of it

And that fall had little to do about teh Jesus, and more about the loss of roman identity, the barbarization and the split in two

he doesnt like religion especially abrahamic ones. so what he is saying is not wrong it just your liberal opinion that he wrong

if person believe that the religion is a lie then no amount of ¨¨´´not true islam or true interperation´´´matters as there is violence and stuff in the book that is enough to be against it.

I'm not the biggest fan of Germans talking about what religions don't belong.
Imagine living in 2018 and legitimately believing Germany is capable of ethnic cleansing in the modern era.

He has a fixation with Islam. He is a fanatic. I have said the same thing before. It is pathetic how much Islam controls his life. He orbits it in a reactionary pattern. If it moves, he moves. lol. Pathetic.

well islam can in ways be considered a global threat depending where you live. Political mainstream islamic doctrine as the Koran says is against western secular values. Honestly any true religious society is so it not only islam issue it jsut islam most active.

I just found this and am only 5 minutes in but it seems this thread needs this....

I don’t understand some people’s positions here.

Look st the US. For the most part Muslims are just living peacefully in our country but there are some that are batshit insane.

Do we kick out the overwhelming majority that act normal? Not sure what some of you are trying to say.

Evangelical Christians act harmful to the country as well. Should we kick them out as well?
