This was an altercation, not a random attack. Didn't get much attention the same way gang shootings don't. Media can't use a handgun shooting to push a semiautomatic ban.

the santa fe shooting was apparently done with a revolver and shotgun so i wonder how they will try to handled that?

however, i do remember seeing some news outlets saying there was an assault rifle, revolver and shotgun, while the police were saying there was only a revolver and shotgun.
