Unique P229 9mm $649

I haven't seen this gun but I've seen AR's in this cerakote color and it's pretty cool.

Thanks.

Not sure at what price a foreign made 1911 is a great deal.

<{vega}>

As far as a deal on this it's about $200 less than most places I've seen.

Sig 1911's are made by Sig Sauer usa in NH using 100% usa made parts.

I've shot one of these Emperor Scorpions and a threaded Scorpion. I thought they were better than my buddies Colt. However they aren't true 1911's. They use an external extractor

Awesome deal. Too bad I stopped using their stuff on principal after their point of aim shift debacle and the cover up drama. I just can't support a company that deployed faulty equipment to our special forces and some infantry units and covered the issue up.

Our PD also switched away from them to ACOG 1.5x on all our patrol rifles and 40mm launchers due to battery life issues and point of aim shift.

Do you guys use the 1.5x16s or 1.5x24?

I'd love one with the ACSS reticle. These just dropped

Bottom 4 hash marks are ranging estimators.

Start with bottom line. Using a 5'10 human size if it's from bottom to top hash they are at 300, bottom to 2nd hash 400, bottom to 3rd 500. So you range and bring up to the chevron or dots.

Each hash mark is 18" on target(average shoulder width of a male). Top hash 18" at 300, 2nd 18" at 400, 3rd 18" at 500.

Also the chevron at 300 should be touching inside ear to ear on a human.

2nd dot just inside ears at 400.

3rd dot just inside ears at 500.

DVOR is doing a sale on Cold Steel for the knife and blade guys amongst us.

Like $40 for their Viking ax with a hickory handle and $120 for their kitchen knife set. Both of thsoe is at least near 50% off their normal price.

The Viking ax has me real tempted as I've always wanted to try ax throwing and there's this massive cottonwood tree on my parents property that I've slung .45 ACP into in an effort to fuck it up enough it'll start dying.

Said cottonwood would make a great target.
