The UFC are booking the heavyweight title for a guy who hasn't won a fight in 8 years, got summarily first round KO'd in two of his last three, and is currently serving a PEDS suspension. That is all real.

The lightweight champion has never defended his belt, and his last fight was - I shit you not - a boxing match.

Currently the only rule is 'try and make money' and Gus is another cog in that wheel. Don't blame him, blame the organization for running it like a circus attraction instead of a sport. He's just playing his cards like they are.

Back on planet earth, DC and Gus had a thrilling 5 round war that ended in a controversial decision. Not only do they matchup well, but they clearly have unfinished business. That makes a lot of sense to book, all things considered.
