BTW, I agree with Rick Steve's comments about pusher street. Christiania seems to already have a lot going for it and would probably be much nicer without it. That's just an opinion.

This, exactly. I was there three years ago, expecting to see something decent. I was disappointed. It wasn't even interesting, from a tourist point of view. And I bought horrible weed there.
