With the exception of Monday Night Raw, The Office, and Impractical Jokers, my TV is usually off. That’s why I’m a little surprised that with the minimal amount of TV I watch, I am continuing to see more and more LGBT commercials.

Within the last couple of weeks I’ve seen a Verizon commercial where LGBTs call their loved ones to tell them they’re LGBT, a Samsung S8 commercial with the most flamboyant black dude, commercials regarding HIV awareness featuring predominantly LGBT protagonists, and most recently an erectile distinction commercial featuring all LGBT men.

Recent data suggests only about 4% of the U.S. population identifies as LGBT.

DISCLAIMER: My intentions are NOT to bash LGBT! I have several LGBT friends who I discuss these matters with, but they’re just busy living their lives, and don’t really care if the media champions their cause.

Any thoughtful insight is welcome.

Based on your vague definition of "full-LGBT" and your anectdote about commercials you saw, I think we can safely say yes.

I'm not joking when I say, about a month ago driving through downtown Seattle, I saw more gay dudes walking hand in hand than straight couples. It was either gay couple, or solo people. I was shocked. I love the gays, some of my best friends are gay, etc, but I felt like I was in a place I'd never been to before.

I would wager that marketing research shows the following:
1. Being as inclusive as possible will net your company more business
2. Inclusive marketing may diminish the likelihood of bad press, claims that your company is bigoted, etc
3. Creates an environment where people believe that supporting your business is somehow virtuous, allowing them to feel good about using your products or services versus a less-virtuous competitor

Based on your viewing habits as stated, I roughly guesstimate you saw 100+ commercials in the period mentioned, of which a total of 4 were aimed at the LGBT-demographic, constituting a <4% (insert Nelson-gif) share. So you might be seeing more LGBT-aimed commercials than in years gone by, but still not excessive in any way, shape, or form.

So, there is an amount which may be deemed excessive?

I've no problems with the LGB.
How‘bout the Ts? You only mentioned the Ls, Gs, and Bs.

Transgenderism isn't a sexual orientation, nor do I hold any special reverence for cosplay.

you guys get LGBT ads? wtf?

The reason is that there’s no penalty for virtue signaling but potentially huge penalties for not sufficiently doing so.

Why do so many straight girls love it up the butt and how come straight anal porn is literally every where on the internet. Like everywhere. Someone must be watching it.
