Heavy weight, not weight limit!

Boxing HW has no weight limit. Most top heavyweights are still in the 240 to 250 pound range. Anything more than that is just too big and heavy, not good for fighting.

Always wondered about the capped HW limit in MMA and wrestling myself. But I think there is more of a diminishing return with weight in striking than in grappling, assuming you are still somewhat agile.

If Brock could have come in at 300 lbs, I think he would have been even more effective than he was in his early fights. Juiced or not, he had incredible cardio for his size.

Speaking of incredible cardio for his size, I'd put money on 350 lbs. USADA exemption 2002 Bob Sapp with 2 years proper MMA training vs. just about any UFC HW today.
