I'm no fan of the Irish, but people knew what Ireland was before Conor, lol. Yes they are overly arrogant and can't touch Scotland or England when it comes to contributions to the Enlightenment (Philosophy, economics, art, engineering, science, etc) or America for the last 200 years, and even their great intellects like Edmund Burke and Hutcheson chose to move to Great Britain and live in England & Scotland respectively, lol.
BUT, they do have a strong 4th and 3rd generation migrant population all over the US, The UK (especially Scotland (Glasgow.) and Northern England (Liverpool.) Australia and Canada so their culture and history and identity is always just a person away it seems.
So even as someone who experiences nonsense with far-left socialist 3rd generation Irish Republicans in my own country, someone whose ancestors have had REPEATED bad experiences with the Irish (I am talking from the 1320's and the 1500's and the 1700's and right up to the 70's.) but it is important to remember, not all Irish people are the Conor nuthugger caricature. The Irish immigrant dude I work with is as pro-US, pro-UK, pro-West and pro-Capitalist as anyone and is humble and friendly. I am the furthest thing from pro-Irish or an SJW but connecting a whole nation with a complex and ancient history and heritage and influence (Scots-Irish aka Ulster Scots influence on the early beginnings of the USA for example......) to Conor and his dick riders is a wee bit silly.
TLDR
I disagree with the TS's derision of Ireland based on Conor & Conor dickriders.
