He went 3 rounds at a good pace against Holloway.

Starts to gas in the Diaz fight then shoots a desperation takedown. Gets choked out round 2.

Makes it the whole 5 in the second Diaz fight, but had to run away for minutes of the fight to catch his breath.

Beats Eddie Round 2, looks to be perfectly fine.

Looks good the first 3-4 rounds in the Floyd fight, but then slowly loses it round by round.

Would you say its safe to Call Conor a 2 round fighter? He nearly stops everyone in the first or second, but if you can get it passed that, you have a good chance catching him.

On a second note, who has the best cardio of all time?

His cardio is fine as long as it's against somebody he can control the pace against.

Similar to Jose in a way, if he faces somebody more timid then he will easily go 5 rounds.

Against Frankie and Chad, he was pretty tired. Some people handle fatigue better than others, and Conor doesn't handle it too well. Still, his cardio isn't as bad as people say it is.

And as for best cardio - #1 - EL CUCUY TONY FERG

It's not one of his strengths, for sure, but it's kinda to be expected with his go for broke style.

Shogun had endless cardio back in the day. The Lil Nog and Kanehara fights (10 minute first rounds) were pretty much at full speed.

I don't ever remember seeing Big Nog bent over and sucking wind.

Wand and Handy had really good cardio in their time.

Sean Sherk was a beast.

That guy could go forever.

Gotta be Diego Sanchez. Who else could stand in the pocket and throw like that for 15 minutes? If dude didn’t block punches with his jaw, he’d go like that the entire fight.

Cardio Kings

Cain
RDA
Nate and Nick
Prime Diego sanchez
GSP

Absolutely no competition, given the amount of weight he's carrying. Little people do not count

No one in the current roster can push the monstrous pace like Colby does.

Cain, Diaz Bros, GSP. I don't think Conor's cardio is horrible but he's not winning any awards for it.

tony ferguson fought like a madman at mexican altitude

don't think anyone else can do that

Conors cardio at lw seems to be average at best. He looks to end fights early so it's not always a factor for him.

The second note... Oh man lots of fighters who stand out here.

Frankie edgar, nick and nate diaz, cain velasquez(bar the werdum fight), carlos condit, joanna jedrzejczyk, are all fights that ive seen go 5 rounda and very rarely seem to be tired nor does thier out put change much between round 1 and 5

Mighty Mouse and Cruz can run and bounce around for miles inside the cage without slowing down. Clay Guida has excellent cardio. Cain in the JDS 2 fight going for takedowns for 2 rounds straight was insane.

The BJ Penn that smoked Diego Sanchez had the best cardio of all time for LW

I stand corrected. Not even relative to weight class, but Cain was someone that never let up and kept firing off strikes and grappling full boar without letting up.

Junior should be dead right now.

Sea Level Cain
Tony Ferguson
Frankie Edgar
Bisping
MM
TJ

Will never not think of Saku. 1 hour 45 minutes of Royce and Igor in 1 night.
