Agreed. Nog had no chin and never fought anyone bigger than him, nor did he fight powerful strikers in his prime. Ngannou would definitely finish him in 20 seconds.

Theyre nice wins. But in mma legendry, he's with company like dan henderson, gsp, mighty mouse, fedor, and nog. Each of whom had better victories and were straight dominant against lesser opponents.

Randys goal in a fight is to hold you against the cage and control you to a victory. Its still impressive given his age, but doesnt compare to his legend peers.

Nog vs Randy was one of the easiest money Ive ever made. Nog beats him everywhere as the fight later showed.

Stipe is not a threat on the ground. His top game against Gonzaga and Hunt wasn't particularly punishing and it wasn't impressive against Francis either. He just wore on him. After the fight his face looked much worse despite having 20+ minutes of control time.

DC forced Rumble to all-fours, hopped on his back, and choked him out. Twice. For sure every fighter is a black belt now though, dude.

90% of the current HW division are purple belts or worse on the ground. Pretty much the only guys with any kind of ground game in the division are Stipe, Cain, Werdum, Overeem, Arlovski, and.... that's it lol

If Nog and Mir came back today, they'd still be heavy favourites on the ground with nearly the entire roster.
