Is there a general late night street scene? I can never tell if Seoul and other major pop. centers pack it in early more than NYC

Like are the bars and nightlife closed after certain times, or very late running?

They never close. One of the few things that Korea beats Japan in is the night life. Most bars and clubs and even many restaurants catering to drunk people are open until the morning. Even some clothing stores are open all night and them some. On one of my first nights out when I came back was at a club where the girl I was dancing with tripped and broke one of her heels. So we went out to find her a new pair of shoes and grab some food at like 3 in the morning then went to another bar.

10 years since I been there last. Fun place to visit, though the longest i stayed was for several months for a study abroad/internship. Packed as fuck compared to where i live. I don't, however, miss the driving

I've worked with a few of Koreans and the fuckers heads are that fat no safety glasses would fit there melons. They where all great guys and what I would call master tradesman, very knowledgeable and a joy to work with
