If Conor can drop Nate he can put Floyd to sleep

Yeah, Nate can claim he sparrs with Ward and all that, but in reality he blocks punches with his face....Floyd is the best defensive boxer, 49-0 with minimal damage.

Floyd is older now so he probably isn't as durable as he once was but Conor, sure as hell, doesn't hit harder than Shane fucking Mosley.

Canelo has punched Mayweather. Conor isn't a more powerful puncher than Canelo.
Doubt it, Canelo is just as heavy as Conor and hits harder imo, and Canelo didnt exactly landed on Floyd, who did landed on Canelo and didnt do much damage btw.

So much wrong with this fanboy fueled thread ill just list reasons.

1.Nate is shit, hes just a punching bag with a good chin and good cardio, not techically skilled at all as a fighter
2.Floyd has a good chin and has faced hard punchers in BOXING
3.Floyds defense is too good to be hit by an MMA fighter
4.Conors power is overrated, its his timing and MMA boxing that catches all of his opponents off gaurd though he does hit hard, floyd has faced plenty hard punchers just like conor. Maidana and canelo 100% hit harder than him and are better boxers.
you are a fucking retard

Clay Fucking Guida ( respect ) beat Nate, and even better fighters. Ex champs, future champs, whatever.

Smarten the fuck up.

I think you're due to cough out a fur ball. Like a cat. You swallow that much pubic hair. Sooner or later, it catches up with you.

#1. Floyd has been fighting larger opponents for years. It would be unnatural if he was still knocking people out. Even Manny who is known as more of a power hitter than Floyd last KO'ed someone back in 2009. He did when he was boxing people around his size.

2. His hands are screwed

3. Floyd not athletic? Wtf... lol. Only skilled defensively? He had the highest connect/against rate before he left and it was like double the next guy. He lands more, and gets hit less and this is the dusty old Mayweather not even close to prime. He's a freak to be honest.
Conors been KOing larger guys his entire career including nate diaz because many refs would have stopped the fight.
Floyd and other boxers don't gave KO power because lately most talent has been going to mma where conor is the king.

Ko power is simply technique, athletism, accuracy and timing. If you can't Ko your opponent it means you are lacking one or more of the above attributes

Also fucking lol at comparing Nate's defense to Floyd's.

The Conor retards are out in full force.

If this isnt Grade A trolling, then son, you're a thick cunt, ill tell you that.

Knockouts are caused by momentum transfer to the head boxing gloves do nothing to reduce said momentum, they simply reduce cuts and tissue damage.

Conor KO's people because of good technique and superior athletism Floyd doesn't because he's only skilled defensively and isn't very athletic.
The only person more athletic than Floyd at welterweight was Pac and maybe zab. Floyds work cpacacity speed conditioning hand eye coordination are better than practically everyone else.

dropped nate b/c of leg kicks
nate stated he was trying to bait him in
didnt not drop nate after the 2nd round lol what happen to all the powah? which further proves the above two reasons

there wont be any leg kicks vs floyd
there will also be 10oz gloves vs floyd
conor will gas even quicker swing at air

No fighter goes down intentionally.

Casual.

Wrong

sometimes i hate being a conor nuthugger.

because i get lumped in with guys like you, fuckin annoying like just stop.

You're part of the problem.

Name the larger fighters. He didn't KO Diaz and no ref could have stopped that fight. Diaz was fine. So fine he had what could have been called a 10-8 round in the 3rd after two knockdowns wherein he was in NO danger. Back to the issue: Mendes, Siver, Aldo, Marcus Brimage, Diego Brandao, Burchinger, David Hill. Poirier and Holloway are the two biggest guys he's faced, and they are both lanky spindles like Nate. Don't try to rewrite history.

McGregor is a very good MMA fighter. The only thing that can translate to in boxing is having a puncher's chance.... and he 100% has that chance. It's a danger for Mayweather. But if you think he's got some ungodly power that boxers FLoyd has faced do not... you're embarrassing.

Floyd has faced bigger punchers than McGregor.
Indeed he has. The only real thing going against Floyd In this fight is age. And the fact that he's taken nearly 2 years off without even training.

I don't think It will make too much of a difference In the outcome of this fight but It's worth noting.

If there were ever a time for Floyd to lose a fight It's now.

crazy that some of you are actually delusional enough to believe that.
He didn't want to be there, but he was also in zero danger. You can watch him place his hands on the mat, continue looking at McGregor, and is never out of it. His stance and style affords him the aspect of being taken down or falling over because that's where he wants to be. His footwork seems clunky and awkward for that reason as well.... because in MMA being taken/knocked down is not as significant as in boxing. And I truly wish people would learn not all knockdowns are equal.

But I digress. This isn't about Mac/Diaz 2. This is about that he has only a power-punching chance in a fight with Floyd. He cannot outbox him.
