If I skip breakfast will that lower my blood pressure?

I found having a latter breakfast helped my blood pressure.

So instead of having breakfast at say 8 am, have it between 10:30 and 11 am.
 
Blood pressure was 146 but the doctor was too concerned about my back to notice

That doesn't sound good. Pretty high for someone your age. Pain medications and pain itself can also raise blood pressure.
 
Because I know my real results will be better once my back is good and I can walk and get in shape again

I don't want permanant blood pressure pills for a temporary setback

Just because the doctor prescribes them doesnt mean you have to fill that prescription. They raise the 'safe' levels every year of blood pressure so just stick to your plan of getting stronger and then working out.
 
don't read any john wang threads before your doc visit, that should lower your bp

Healthy diet along with exercise will lower your blood pressure and help. Don't drink coffee the morning of your test. I just had mine checked after leaving the gym, and it was normal. I usually have high blood pressure and take meds for it. Not only did the diet and exercise help with the BP, I lost some weight and my cholesterol levels improved (164).

Just keep off the booze, smack and viagra.
