If you don't like rap, listen to this song, and tell me if you still hate it

This is the Prof song I play for my married friends when they are being a bitch, and letting their woman engage in mental terrorism against them.

It's like if Slug from Atmosphere was retarded and couldn't rhyme but thought he could.

Could only make it to 2:03. I've heard worse, but not much worse.

I don't get how anyone can call it garbage.

It's cool if it isn't for you, but that is musical skill.

Whatever rapper you like, has probably offered prof 100k to make a beat for their song.

Is that so? What famous rappers and songs has he produced for?

You called a lyrical bit super gimmicky and annoying bear by ra the rugged man song the best ever so forgive if I don't agree

Sounds like artsy John Cena mixed with a dying baby moose.

I don't like 99% of rap "music," but dälek hits the spot for me with their industrial, ambient, and noise rock influences:

Aww, you had me excited for a minute. I was expecting something that hewed closer to digital hardcore, instead got something that was mostly ambient. I guess I should have been able to guess that just on the song's run-time.

Why would I listen to rap if I don't like it? I threw away Gary Clark Jr Blak and Blu for having too much hip hop shit on it and I really like his blues stuff on that album.

This really isn't for people that like hip-hop.

Also, how is it garbage?

His lyrics are garbage? Nope

His beats are garbage? Nope

His hooks are garbage? Nope

I'm sure lil Wayne is in your playlist though.

Don't presume to know what I enjoy just because you think mediocre bullshit is great.

I don't particularly care for that song but I'd bet there's a rap song out there for everyone. I've found that non-rap listeners tend to like this:

Still don't like it. Basically anything with a drum beat is inferior in my mind. Here's some really great music...

Im no hater, but this new rap shit really is terrible. Mumble jumble, Percocet, Percocet, mumble jumble. The issue with rap is that it is derivative. Nothing original about it. You literally use other peoples music, throw a canned beat on there, and rhyme.

There is rap I like far more than this song, but I basically listen to blue grass labor movement Appalachia circa 1880-1940 folk music, or hardcore gangster rap. Weird I know.
have you heard Ceschi? He's a socialist rapper/folk singer from CT.

If you wann get non-hiphopser's into hiphop you better go for some Atmosphere instead. I played ms interpret once at home and even my mom was luvin' dat shit, and her whiteness still gives Hitler a boner.

Prof though, nope

ITT : grown up caucasian men arguing about apporpriated urban music

Aww, you had me excited for a minute. I was expecting something that hewed closer to digital hardcore, instead got something that was mostly ambient. I guess I should have been able to guess that just on the song's run-time.

This might be a better example:
