I dont know how, but answer on question... for me is legal. I have never heard about any rules forbidden grab the glutes.
What is not forbidden, is legal.

Perfectly legal. I like to grab one cheek in each hand and proceed to rip their glutes apart. And while their butthole skin is being slightly torn and they yelp in pain I quickly sink in the rear naked poke for the finish
