By not only refusing to listen to the most popular politician in the country who has the most energy behind him, but also using bought and paid for media outlets to pervert the narrative and slander him and the millions of people who support his policy platforms.

FUCK THE DEMOCRATIC MAINSTREAM WITH THEIR LOSER FUCKING ASSES!!! The amount of some of smug in this video is nauseating. So not only is Sanders still filling out venues for run-of-the-mill town halls, but she then has the gall to say that Bernie Sanders has just been "Bernie Sandersing". She then makes the case that the DNC has lagged behind the RNC in terms of fundraising and somehow attributing that to the Sanders wing of the party. PEOPLE DON'T FUCKING TRUST DEMOCRATS ANYMORE let alone the DNC!!!! Like is this just blind arrogance or is corporate smear tactics against Sanders STILL that strong?

I don't know how it isn't abundantly clear at this point that centrist corporate Democrats are not and WILL NOT be the answer to defeating Trump and other Republicans in the midterm. There are simply not capable of it as they have done nothing but lose elections since 2010. Democrats cannot get out of their own way and prefer to stay pure and loyal to their big money donors rather than actually winning.

Congratulations Trump fans, Donald could take a shit out in the open on the White House lawn and it wouldn't matter because Democrats would still be too incompetent to even clean up his shit afterwards let alone get him out of office…

Both parties are corporate fronts.

The Democrat party will continue to struggle until they have a real message to attract working class Americans! Donald Trump did, and he won.

I believe the over the top hysteria of 2017 will hurt democrats, leftists, and the msm for years to come

the problem with country is that greedy ____ who don't contribute their fair share, hoard all the wealth instead of allowing the noble working class, who build this country, to get what they deserve. I plan on taking everything from the greedy banker _____, and giving it to the hardworking people who make this country great. My answer to every problem is to take more shit from ______.

If you want bernies rhetoric, insert "millionaires and billionaires"
if you want hitlers rhetoric, insert "jews"
if you want soviet rhetoric, insert "bourgeoisie"

bernies message is one of hate, disguised as compassion, and its a losing one

It's one of macroeconomic literacy. Plain and simple.

He's the only US politician promoting a coherent economic message with informed historical context. The fact that others would prefer to limit their knowledge to their own experience and interests, stick their head in the sand, and keep licking boots does not make it a hateful message.

more like macroeconomic retardation thats lead to multiple failed communist states. it demonstrates a childlike understanding of wealth, in that rich people dont become rich by delivering value to other people. as if bill gates path to success made other people poor, instead of raising the productivity of millions

It's astonishing to me you can be so goddamn ignorant. Social democracy and demand side capitalist economics has never "lead to multiple failed communist states." What they did do is create the American middle class, turn the US into the world's preeminent super power, and what they are currently doing is administrating the world's happiest and most politically efficient countries.

There is no message that the rich do not create economic value (most do, although as a class they do to a much, much smaller degree than they used to). The message is that market participation for huge swaths of the population is being undermined by a distinctly anti-meritocratic distribution of resources that limits their productivity and economic mobility. Wages are falling, workers are taking home smaller and smaller portions of profit, and more wealth is becoming concentrated at the very top of society and perpetuating itself into generational wealth and power hoarding.

Your "rich people are in themselves hard workers that make everyone else rich" fantasy is that of a child. Self-made billionaires are becoming less and less common as upward economic mobility becomes more stifled. Do you prefer a world where the rich become rich by their birthright or through making their own path? Because the latter is quickly becoming extinct.

Ah the old it's never been tried right answer

Huh?

Social democracy and demand-side capitalism have been tried. We tried them here. They worked. They are working in Denmark, Norway, and Germany. They are developing better societies than we currently have.

Nice hit piece by the new Vice.
@ lol @ 33/2 = 22? Nice propaganda.
Bernie should have gone third party, though. If not the moment he lost the primary then the moment the DNC was beaten by Trump.

He actually did, he re-registered as an independent within weeks of the election.

Funny how this hit piece doesn't mention that.

Thats not what I meant. He's independent, but he's talking Democrats. He should build a third party around his platform to challenge the DNC, RNC, and Trump.

The Dems are probably hard at work making sure they slander and cheat any grassroots candidates who want to run in 2018. Better boost the old cronies with one foot in grave to please Soros.

The Democratic party chose who they want as their followers.
It's Blm, lgbq, antifa, illegal aliens, and Muslims.

They actually seem to despise working class Americans.

And be weary, some of these left groups and media outlets have been taken over.
They are now the bitches of the enemy and do as told.

He is trying. Our revolution has fielded multiple candidates, they just keep losing in the primary, is the problem. The democratic machine is still alive and well unfortunately.

My criticisms of Bernie have to do with the alignment with cultural progressives, which unfortunately make up the majority of the Our Revolution infastructure.

Unfortunately, I don't see a solution to this. It is already David vs Goliath, he needs the cultural progressives.

Wait, you mean the party who supports labor rights, worker protections, unemployment benefits, and single payer healthcare are the ones who "despise working class Americans"?

Like, I get that it's all identity politics to you and "working class" just equals white, but it is unjustifiable to say that the Republicans care more about the working class than the Democrats. The Republican Party's entire platform is to starve the working class to wring as much of their productivity from them as possible.

Probably, but there is no evidence that George Soros is funding the neoliberal New Democrat wave/resistance to economic populism.

Soros seems just like any other social justice advocate, not a Clintonite.
