I've had some experience with VR headsets but to me while it seems cool at first, it's too immersive to use on a day to day level and it's soon forgotten about after the novelty wears off. I've seen some stuff for AR (augmented reality) and it seems more useful and practical.

Anyone have experience with AR, do you think it will take off?

It's got noting on the ER.

Seems like it would be easier to develop for since you don't have to create the environment. It'll probably take off first, but ultimately both will inevitably catch on.

AR has more upside over VR, IMO.
Mostly due to not having to wear something, same issue 3D always had.

Try psvr. It’s super sweet.

I was totally indifferent to it till my brother brought his over last xmas. I became a shill for it after using it. Seriously, you get that minority report vibe and it’s crazy fun.

Arkansas better than Virginia VA or Vermont VT?
