Just wondering Sherbros.

Is there another system out there that we haven't thought about? Is there a different way of thinking of things?

All we ever hear about is capitalism and communism ...... With a Living wage, SUPER AI, and nanobots coming soon, should we reconsider this? Do we need a new system?

A System based on a different kind of reward system? A different kind of motivation for people?

Is there anybody working on this?

Are you defining capitalism/communism as just liberalism/syndicalism? Market/command economy? Democracy/one party?

Without knowing how you are defining your parameters/poles it's hard to answer.

I mean, it seems we're moving towards the end of traditional capitalism, but the market will never die. And we're certainly headed toward a socialistic reorganization whereby technology increasingly occupies basic living, and labor and social organization can be repurposed, at least marginally, towards extra-economic goals like personal fulfillment.

Some countries have so called "mixed economies" in which there is a combination of private and public ownership.

It works out pretty well; the private enterprise, as it tends to do, generates a lot of money, and in these countries taxes are high so that money gets redistributed better (paid paternity/maternity leave, free healthcare, etc)

Some industries (telecommunications, for example ) are government run and the profits they earn are distributed back to the populace.

Nope. The British relied on the mercantile system. The Mongols has a tribute system. Could be an environmental or religious systems in the future. Who knows.

No, Im saying if there is another way of thinking other than thinking in patterns that fall to the concepts of Capatalism/Communism/Socialism....Something we havent even thought about.

So basically is there better concepts out there, that we simply havent thought about or are unknown, and are political theorist/Philosophers working on this?

Either you are the Razorback gorilla or you are not.

Dude, you're in your mid 40s and still way more in touch with young music than me. I still use "all them witches" as my commute music cause you posted it like 2 years ago.

The man likes what he likes. No need to hate on him for that. @Cubo de Sangre is just young at heart.

Free market capitalism is good because it's a system that is congruent to human nature. Communism is inherently against our nature.

In theory, communism could work and there would be no need for capitalism. Unfortunately, history has taught us that this will probably not happen for a very long time (if ever). Every single person would have to subscribe to the notion and despite the motivation, work as hard as they could to compete with a capitalistic system. But just looking at how much inefficiency there are in every single area of the government, it is clear that this is more of a dream than an implementable system.

That's why I somewhat sympathize with these kids that think communism is the answer. It's all roses on the surface, but once you dissect it a little bit you realize that it has resulted in complete failure and chaos every time it has been implemented. Unfortunately ignorant people have strong opinions and those opinions rise to the top in today's news cycle/social media atmosphere.

I met him in person. Good dude, and a luscious head of hair. @Cubo de Sangre is 10 years older than me and looks significantly younger.

I totally get the hate now. Deep seeded jealousy from his outstanding hair. Hate on I won't get in the way again.

Richard Marx was right.

Ain’t gonna stop until I’m satisfied.

I have a full head of hair too, but it's kinky and shitty. No hate, I don't believe I've ever said a bad word about cubo de sangre, cause I don't have a low opinion of him.

I accidentally stumbled into the luscious person thread.

Communism seems to be the end all of a lot of things.
