It's not shifting anything, im pointing out what metric people use to determine value. The merits of history have nothing to do with that of gender studies btw and the intellectual integrity of these fields tends to be compromised because of how subjective they are. They are too permeable to pollutants like bias and as you confirmed an overwhelming political slant.

Frozen did seem to push a message and I think it was to the detriment of its characters and the overall story.

The fact that they scrapped the story 12 months in on the whims of one of the voice actors to force in some details to make her feel better shows how directionless that film was in production. And yet it was a yuge success despite being such a shit show. Truly evidence that there is no God.

In this video a man who is Jewish talks about the Nazi's splitting the country into groups. "They used prejudice". No doubt that splitting the country into groups undermines solidarity and paves the way for new leadership. I wouldn't pretend that this is exclusive to governments and parties using "prejudice". We're seeing it today with identity politics and the groups pushing it are doing it in the name odf unification.

Splitting everyone into individual identities is toxic no matter who it's coming from.
