I have a passion for football, soccer, and baseball. And yes I can get very excited but nothing comes close to MMA. No sport can replicate that nervous feeling in the pit of my stomach. I don't think is mainly because is an aggressive sport bur rather because it can really be very unpredictable at times. Even boxing is less unpredictable.

Well, individual sports will always be much less predictable than team sports because individual mistakes and off-days can't be compensated by the other players. Also combat sports are the only ones with sudden death, meaning that you can lead in the scorecards by a huge margin and still lose because you got KTFO in the last five seconds.

Hardly. It's not even the most unpredictable combat sport. That honour goes to kickboxing.

I doubt it.

Nah... poker is

<21>

its broadcast on ESPN

the NFL is the hardest to bet according to my friends that gamble. a 1-10 team can beat a 10-1 team on any given Sunday. in MMA you never get an equivalent 1-10 and 10-1 fight

Every sport has unpredictability.

yes.

its unpredictable in the sense that.... with other sports they always get the odds right.

in MMA.... not so much.

Madrid just lost at home to a team paying +1100.

NBA is probably harder to bet on.

i was referring to US sports. real football i would imagine would be hard to bet as well for similar reasons. league schedules, in the large leagues' relative parity etc.

NBA is not harder to bet on though.

I for one would support a rule saying that a football team could automatically win by completing a 90 yard field goal.

A lot of casinos in Vegas no longer take mma parlays because people hit too much

All sports are unpredictable in a way, but MMA is certainly close to the top of unpredictability. If a sport was very predictable it would be beyond boring after a while.

I have personally made bets on MMA in the past and yeah its very unpredictable.. sometimes I am 100% right and sometimes 100% wrong. HW tends to be the worst to bet on, its very unpredictable.

I’d be interested to see stats from betting odds vs results.
