The correct term should be Polygamous. It's Polygamous system where Males are significantly bigger than their female counterparts not Polyamorous. Polyamorus means Polygamy + Polyandry+ Other types of mating system(Like W shape, couple swap etc).It's an umbrella term. Historically Our species never tried polyandry or other types of mating systems in our evolution cycle. May be in some matriarchal societies. But then they got abolished.
