Is there any point of training more then 1 hour at a time?

Does that 6 hour per week limit figure for non-elite athletes include both S&C *and* sport specific martial arts training? In other words, do normal athletes generally have a limit of 6 productive hours per week to do all of their lifting, running, BJJ, bagwork, etc.?

(And if so, are there ways to get around this limit?)

Less intensive training can be stretched out longer (you could probably walk for hours), just remember more volume will equal less intensity/frequency.

Lifting is meant to be more intense than say bjj, bagwork, light jogging etc (sprints will obviously be as intense as lifting, if not more so, try and do sprints for an hour or rather don’t).

You can perform one intense workout then another light workout later in the day (or vice versa) but you’ll want your nutrition on point.

Genetics/drugs/ability to do nothing but train and recover will of course enable you to train longer/harder/more frequently.
