Is Trump one tweet away from bringing back Freedom Fries?

“Emmanuel Macron suggests building its own army to protect Europe against the U.S., China and Russia. But it was Germany in World Wars One & Two - How did that work out for France? They were starting to learn German in Paris before the U.S. came along. Pay for NATO or not!”

I am starting to get the feeling that Trump is not aware France declared war on Germany in WW2.

Of course our mean girl president didn’t say shit to his face last weekend but waited to return home and bash him on social media.

He thinks NATO is a waste of money and then he's mad when Macron pushes for a European force that wouldn't cost US money?

I remember the powers that be were considering importing some cheese from Germany or somewhere and the people went on strike, closing down main roads to airports and etc.

Who the fuck would want German cheeses when France and Italy are the two GOAT cheese makers in the world? The French won't be mad if you import a random product, but we'll be mad if you try to import a worst version of something that we are much better at making.

If France puts high tariffs on American wines, while we have low tariffs on their wine, do you think that is fair? Serious question. What's your view on the alleged disparity in tariffs between the US and France and other US trading partners?

Tariffs are decided for the whole UE, not by France alone. By the way, Italy and Spain both export more wine than France and they probably have a bigger impact on those tariffs. Trump's first reaction is always to complain when he's invited abroad, it's a negotiation tactic than he uses even when there's nothing to negotiate.

Wasnt Freedom fries coined because france opposed the invasion of iraq? The invasion that was predicated on wrong intel? Do most americans now believe it was an unjust war?

there is no difference .. this is just the left trying to turn a word trump said into a negative .. hey trump said it, something must be wrong with it

That middle definition is the problem, and for all intents and purposes that is the definition that Trump alludes to.

Someone got their heart broken. We can all relate.
