It is possible that Dana White is involved with Joshua vs Wilder money.

Both the UFC and Al Haymon's headquarters are located in Las Vegas and are very deeply connected with the casino powers as the proposed event would take there. Dana comes from a boxing background and he and Haymon did a widely successful partnership in the Mayweather vs McGregor fight plus White has access to Zuffa's huge profits from the recent sale of the UFC of which he himself earned $400 million. Dana wants to develop a Zuffa Boxing arm of the company and has expressed an interest in Anthony Joshua . . . I could go on and on why I think its likely.

Top Rank and the Maloofs will not be involved.

I was being an a hole

Call it how you see it

But to be honest why would Dana be involved? Means more money to split

Dana but he has the cash on hand to escrow in advance, he has the relationship with Haymon and the deep connections in Las Vegas to pull it together quickly as well as promote it.

Haymon is very well connected. I don't see Dana bringing in anything of value

Money wont be an issue for Haymon to gather from my understanding

So, this is completely baseless?

The most powerful man in boxing doesn’t need Dana

There's no source so who knows, but it makes sense if Dana's looking to get into boxing, and if they don't have the capital they'll have to cut an investor in whoever it is.

I haven't kept track but I know they were hemmoraging money last year and had gone through something like a billion dollars. Dana and the UFC seem like they'd make for a powerful partner or associate.

Even with that lost of cash they are still the strongest boxing group. To let the ufc invest and Joshua getting 50 mil. You have to split the rest between Haymon, wilder, Finkel and DiBella. It doesn’t make any sense. This is a Ppv fight

Yeah, that's a good point, it was an interesting idea anyway.

lol, what in the fuck?

Zuffa boxing must show something or all that concentration that Dana is putting in 2018 for that to start could be better use

I think Zuffa Boxing has always been a complete pipe dream. The boxing promotional market is very competitive and not even close to being as lucrative as promoting MMA (you actually have to pay boxers a reasonable % of the revenue for the most part). It's not like the absurd setup that the UFC has where they more or less print money because they have a monopoly on elite MMA. Why would either of the Fertittas or White want to get involved with promoting boxing?

You love conspiracy theories don't you TS? If Dana was involved we'd have heard about it. He's not a shrinking wallflower.
